If you freeze it right at the 1 second mark you can sit there and look at the front. Headlights look sinister all low profile and angled.

About 3 or 4 seconds into the video they showed a side profile pic and it really does have RWD proportions. No I don't think it will ever be RWD but I like that long hood.

Reminds me of the Temple of VTEC TLX concept from back in 2016: https://www.vtec.net/news/news-item?...tem_id=1282788

I'm going to make a guess that it's based on a modified RDX chassis which is ultimately a heavily modified Accord/CRV chassis (different front and rear ends but roughly the same between the wheels). Would not surprise me if the wheelbase is the same as the RDX either. If so, it should be a blast to drive with ~380hp being put down in Type S trim. Would have been neat if the back was a hatch like a Arteon or A5 Sportback though - the extra practicality would be a boon.

Looks beautiful. Would be interesting if they make a Type S RDX. Based on the rumors, it looks like the Type S with have a turbo-6 instead of a turbo-4. Although there are no details about the interior, I hope they don't offer an all red interior as the only option a la Civic Type R.

What I love most about that concept is that it looks like a real car. Like add proper door mirrors and door handles and it's good to go.

They BETTER offer this color as an option, I hate how they keep showing concepts in unavailable but amazing colors.

I was almost ready to leave Acura

I've been with Acura since 1999. I had an Acura TL 1999 and then an Acura TL 2003. I even waited to see what the 2004 would look like before I bought the 2003, and I hated the boxy look. I felt like the 2004 lost its sexiness. So I bought my 2003 brand new and love it. It's still going strong with 355,143 miles. Now that its time to get a new car, I thought maybe its time to move up to RLX. Well, the RLX is really dated on a few things, and I'm hearing rumblings of discontinuation. So I don't want to be stuck with that considering how long I keep cars. I looked at BMW, but I don't want the maintenance. I looked at Mercedes, but I don't want the price for what I could get in a C Class. E Class would fit me better, but cost and maintenance are not attractive. I say all this to say that it would be so great to stay with the brand and model I love if Acura really pulls off this concept car. I know the dependability of the car so that's never been a question for me. I will buy it if it looks like this. I'm ready to buy.

I hope this doesn't come out as a 350hp vehicle..... If they go for 400+ I may be a buyer

a twin turbo v6 would make more than 350hp, a tuned type r which shares the same "engine" as the rdx make that much so it wouldn't make sense to have only make 350hp.

This is Honda we're talking about...I'm not sure they're allowed to make anything that would constitute "big power". Doing so might be a fireable offense.
Civic Si...less power than almost all its competitors.
Civic Type-R...less power than almost all its competitors
Accord 2.0T...less power than almost all its competitors
ILX...less power than almost all its competitors
TLX...less power than almost all its competitors
RLX...less power than almost all its competitors

As much as I'd wish you were right, it's probably an accurate figure. I assume they prefer to err on the side of reliability than pushing the envelope with big power numbers. Still, it'd be nice to see that number closer to 400 with all the offerings currently available. Seeing as the price tag will likely be North of $50k, it's going to be a pretty tough sell.
