Tire Pressure - Winter

Hello,

So, for those of you that live in the colder states, what do you set your tire pressures at during the winter months with the stock tires on the Aspec model?

Thanks!

36-37 PSI cold pressure during typical day.

Ok, thank you. What is the lowest you’ve seen your pressure drop to from the above pressures?

I set mines to 37 PSI when it was low 30s, now its 50s
Its typically 1 PSI for every 10 degrees.

Not sure if relevant, but mine are set to 37 psi at around 55-60F ambient temps. Went on a roadtrip where it was -1F outside and the monitor showed 33psi

With crazy temperature swings its difficult to set correct pressure. I usually adjust pressures 4-5 times a year due to seasonal temp changes

I have never seen my tires lose pressure over time.. I check it with a high quality precision German made gauge every month or two and compare that to what the sensors are reading. I do sometimes adjust pressure during change of seasons due to ambient temperature changes but that is only a couple of times per year and normally only one or two PSI at the most.

When setting pressure in cold temperature, it’s important to set it 4-6 psi lower than the target pressure because when driving the tire heats up in about 15 minute and adds that much psi.

wrong. Tire pressures should be set when tires are cold. If average temp is 20F, then you set it to 36 PSI for Aspec when tires are cold and its 20F outside.
yes, tire will heat up when driving, pressure will be above 36 PSI and it is expected and accounted for in cold tire pressure settings
