Steering wheel App button and arrow button next to it...not working ?

I was playing around with my infotainment a bit listening to Sirius XM. I pressed the Apps button on the steering wheel and the arrow next to it, it doesn't seem to do anything in any screen on the car.
What is it supposed to do ? My RDX was only built like 6 months ago so...hard to imagine it just doesn't work.

Hmm...dealer told me it only applies to Android Auto or Apple car play...
That is not what this video shows....
Not sure what the issue is.

OK...I realize the majority of people don't have an advance model so this wont apply to them. 1st off...my dealership misinformed me about the need for Android Auto to be on. That's BS. The issue for me is that the app info is shows in the HUD. I want it to show in the iMid. So...now need to figure out how to turn off the HUD.

Update for anyone who runs into this.
Advance owners can only use the HUD with the Apps button. I had the HUD dimmed, so I didn't see what it was doing. There is no way to use the iMID instead on the Advance models.
I would prefer that as I find the HUD distracting. But I will still use it while I am parked.
