Thumbs up

Like I said it has to be Canadian...and, thanks to Mr. James, we now know that. Got to be careful with sources of info.and how you..us...interpret them. Facts here....we want proof and facts. Why speculate and mislead folks?
Not intentional I know....just rush to judgment.

Hang em high.....don't care whether the scoundrel stole those horses or not....LOL!!!!

Hyundai, Infiniti, and Kia offer adaptive headlights, and, according to the RDX 2019 manual, so does Acura. But where? Well, that is what I am trying to find out.

Adaptive headlights are very good to have.

Thanks.

That sucks (it gets dark here too), but thanks for the info.

I wasn’t interpreting anything. I know of the feature, saw it in the FM that I actually read, and asked for information.

No need to get snarky.

I always try to RTFM, but them tech writers sometimes do not make things clear.

I agree Madd Dog. Tech Writing is hard and I've had to do it... a lot for Boeing, Gulfstream and other tech company's. I read some really bad Tech type manuals....and car manuals are some of the worst. I really get
frustrated often trying to follow them. Just poorly done most often. I worked one job on a contract for an airline...and it was just writing tech manuals for them. Boring and not easy. I tried to make it as perfect as I could,
but, my boss was on a deadline and didn't think I wrote fast enough....LOL!!...so he let me go. OK by me. Went on to bigger and better things.

Madd Dog....as in Tech Writing..which is not easy.....interpreting what one THINKS another is meaning is hard. I'm definitely not trying at all to be "snarky." Fun word. You perceived it all wrong...I'm loose and having fun...
and if you misinterpreted wrong...which you did....then I apologize. NEVER was I trying or wanting to be what you are thinking. PEACE my man!!

OK. I got the wrong vibe.

And yeah, the manual should have said ‘available only to a select few who buy one trim only, in the great white north, not you mugs in America’. It would have conveyed actual information. Leather seats are “not available on all models”, as is SH-AWD not available on all models.

I picked up an Advance AWD last night; I'm fairly certain the only "adaptation" the headlights perform is to high beams (which seems to work well). I had the swiveling headlights on my old Infiniti G37. It was a nice feature, but I wouldn't say missing it is a big deal. More important that the headlights provide strong and even lighting (which they do).

I paid MSRP but got two months' credit for my remaining BMW lease, as well as a two year service plan. (I probably got lucky since I took advantage on May 31, the same day they got 8 new RDX's as well as the last day of the month.)

one of the differences listed is the additional sound deadening glass in the Advanced trim.
I wonder how much of a difference it makes re: in cabin noise between A-Spec and Advanced.

Good question.

All models have acoustic windshield, but the Advanced as adds acoustic front door glass.

In the review by “Alex on Autos”, he seems to thinks there’s enough difference that it’s note worthy. He gives the Advance interior noise an “A” rating but makes sure to mention that if you test drive a different model that the “A” rating is only on the Advance model. If you haven’t seen that review yet...it’s pretty good.
