Hey everyone - I received a notice today in my Acura app indicating there is a system update for the 2020 RDX. In fact I've received three notices of tis in the app on 2/24-25-26/2020. They all say version D1.2.1 which is the build I've had since January when I bought the car. I've attached the screenshot for one of these notices and the 'inbox' with all three notices. The car is reporting no updates available but the app is saying otherwise. Any insight? I checked the sticky thread on software updates and didn't see any info on this. Thanks!
I've been getting them in the app too. I think this is just them finally getting around to telling us about it, since they didn't tell us when it came out in November. They still haven't told us about the map update.
I am set up for automatic updates and it appears that this one went through. I checked for update information and it said my update was successful. Ever since then my tire pressure seems to be working right on my phone and my remote start seem a lot more likely to happen.

My Acuralink has never worked properly. Does not even give me oil life and odo. Like the car overall but the entire system (except the 1:1 touch pad) is garbage.
I checked for an update is there is no update for the 2020.
The screen on my car said the update was successful and there were no more to do. This morning the app on my phone was acting pretty funky and didn't seem to be doing hardly anything right. I swiped my app on the phone when I got in the car this morning and it seemed like it was doing some different things and then after that it was working quite well. I'm no expert on this stuff but it almost seems like the phone had to pair with the infotainment system after the update to get the phone working really good. I could never get accurate tire pressure readings from inside the house and now all I have to do is swipe the screen on my phone and it seems to give me the exact right ones and so far my remote start has been good.... before it was a crapshoot whether or not it would work from the house to the garage. Maybe I'm just imagining things about that's the way it seemed to have shaken out for me. Btw... I have a Samsung phone and I had the dealership switch to the infotainment system over to Android auto before I took delivery.
There was an update to the app about a week ago, at least on Android. When I launched the app, I got a message that I can't use it until I update. I've gotten that before. I have the Remote package and it works great.
I had the infotainment head unit replaced in my car, after which the AcuraLink app broke. Before that, it worked perfectly. It took almost two weeks for tech support to fix it but they did fix it. I was on the phone with them almost daily and I had to email them screen shots of TCU status (?) from the diagnostics menu.
Be persistent. They can get it working if they want to and if you want them to.

I don't know what that means. The infotainment system has both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Use either depending on your phone.
I've rec'd several of these messages through the AcuraLink App as well. It's my believe this is a hiccup as a result of their 2/21/20 update. though this update was intended to fix minor bugs, usability & enhancements I've been plagued with a great deal of problems since that time. Coincidentally, My Remote access expired on the 24th & AcuraLink app no longer even shows the basic data of my car, such as fuel gauge, oil life, & mileage. my understanding is that that Basic features are free. I tried to deleted the App & reinstalled it but what I now see is information from this past weekend not today.. WTH!! Calling them made matters worse. Anyone else have this issue & if so, did you find a fix?

Yes, I lost everything when my subscriptions lapsed, and no I didn't find a fix. Until I stopped using the app. Problem solved...

Worse how? With the app or your patience?
Not having a paid subscription, I don't know what you can expect from them. They imply no promises and reserve the right to make changes or even suspend it at any time. The basic plan is free but the meager features are pretty much useless, IMO.
I've had no problems with the latest update. I have the Remote package on Android (Galaxy S10).
OTOH I got so fed up I cancelled the AcuraLink susbscription on one of our other cars, and everything is still ( sorta ) working months after it lapsed. Go figure.
