So been an Acura/Honda guy for a long set of decades and FINALLY got a beast last week, a 23 Type S TLX. Already @ 420HP after, well, one day....anyway....took the Ktuner from the 21 TLX advanced, and the Intercooler and downpipe and put it on my 21 RDX A spec...Had Derek over at Innovative Motorworks hook me up with a new tune and....
HOLY Crap! About 350+ HP and I turned a Super fun SUV into a monster! Works SOOOO much better on this car than the old TLX btw!! Keep you posted on more mods coming soon!

Love this! I'm actually very surprised at how few people are actually modding their RDX's. The platform is screaming for mods and practically nobody is llistening lol. The first generation RDX was a complete unicorn with the K23 but this has one of the most mod friendly engines thanks to the CTR and Accord.

Make sure to include the imaginary dyno graph to go along with that imaginary horsepower number.
The 10AT in the Accord started slipping with PRL around 420wTQ :
"Due to the nature of the DynaPack's increased load capability during a power curve test, torque needed to be limited in the midrange, as some transmission slip was detected when more than 420ft/lbs was made at earlier engine speeds"
Typical nonsense about the DynaPack, which has more load than a Dynojet, but less than a Mustang dyno that's been around far longer than the DynaPack set-up.
So the limit on a FWD 10AT is about low-400wTQ. It's going to be much less for SH-AWD folks. I believe there was someone on here who found that ~360wTQ was when the transmission was starting to slip on her tuned RDX (forget her SN).
For those numbers, you're going to need full bolt-ons, tune and upgraded turbo anyway.
There's plenty of headroom, you won't be maxing out the transmission on a stock turbo. MHI stage 2 turbo with water/meth injection along with downpipe/intercooler/front pipe and 4bar map sensors here with no issues, calibrated by Drob at IMW on Ktuner of course.

Damn, that's quite the power bump. Have you thrown it on a dyno or done any 1/4mi passes since adding those mods?
Plenty of launches from a stop around town, and a few with a Dragy recording which results in high 4 second 0-60 times. Haven't taken the time to find a suitable place around me for a run down the 1320 yet but would like to know as well. Import Alliance (Import Alliance Website) will be in Nashville July 21/22 with roll racing and drag racing and I plan to confuse some people there. Bigger turbo has been on the car for around 15k miles with no issues, car drives like stock until you push on it. Had it tuned with the stock turbo before 1,000 miles were on the clock also.
You are much better off with the Ktuner. At least from personal experience.
Precisely what I was going to say. An actual calibration vs tricking the factory sensors and calibration is a better approach. https://ktuner.com/19rdx/
Yes, and it’s much more accurate. Although it’s funny when you go onto the Burger website, what they say about that. I guess there is no love loss between the performance manufacturers like that.
Another thing that bugs me about Burger? They make too many units for too many types of cars. It’s always better to focus on something especially like that.
