RDX Aspec Advance

Hey all,

Who has an Aspec Advance? I’m thinking about dumping my TLX Type S for one. I like the Type S, but the RDX is so much more comfortable and quick for an SUV.

For those of you that do, how much do you appreciate 360 camera, HUD, and heated steering wheel (all that my Type S is lacking)..

I have an A-Spec Advance and love it.

The 360 camera and side cameras are really helpful for parking an navigating tight spaces.

I'll never own another car without a HUD. It's a gamechanger for me.

The heated steering wheel is a nice touch as well. I take my RDX to the mountains regularly for ski season, so that feature is super useful.

You might also appreciate Wireless CarPlay/Andorid Auto as well. Super convenient.

I think I am going to wait until Fall 2024 and see what the redesigned 25' RDX looks like. I had a 21' Aspec and loved it. I do like the TLX Type S for the most part, but it's just not nearly as comfortable as the RDX in my opinion.

I'm curious to see how the TLX Type S does in the snow. My RDX was great, but I'm hoping with the lower ground clearance I won't have too many issues.

I have an Aspec advance. Cameras are extremely useful, I use them every time I have to park, the HUD I personally don't use (others love it) , the heated steering wheel I use on every cold day.
IMO...the Aspec Advance is the very best RDX ever built. All of the bugs have been worked out from the 2019-2021 models.
The Aspec Advance has every option you could imagine (including heated seats in the backseat)., and IMO is the best looking of all the RDX's. (regular aspec is similar, with different tires)
You COULD wait for 2025...but then you are buying a 1st year redesign, which usually have issues.

Is there any guarantee that the RDX will be redesigned in '25?

Its not guaranteed, but with the pattern, '25 should be the 4th gen

The RDX is every 5 years...the MDX every 6...the TLX is different...who knows. I mean its possible I guess.
They may launch another monstrosity like the ZDX though...you never know.

Acura has been doing 3 years MMR then 3 years redesign for most models, with rare exceptions. And exceptions are usually sooner rather than later. So 2025 is the expected redesign for the RDX unless a rare delay occurs.

Wife is the primary rdx user and likes the 360 camera and HUD. Part of the 360 suite is the side-tire view that she uses all the time when parallel parking. She doesn't mention the heated steering wheel much but does remote start the car all the time and appreciates everything being warm when she goes in.

With all the problems the 2019 had, I'd avoid the 1st year of a redesign.

Exactly. Never buy a first year redesign.
