I have had 2 instances where a little update icon appeared on my screen. On both occasions, I parked in my garage, connected to wifi, and clicked on the icon to run the update.
On both occasions a message came up that my software was up to date and the update icon disappeared. But it doesn't appear to be updating at all.
Is this normal?

Sadly, most of us are confused as to what is actually normal for this vehicle. I know I am. I don't have any big issues with mine either.. gremlins are known to be present

I have seen the update notice appear and disappear, then I have seen it and it did update with info stating is was updating and when finished.

 

Most of them are not real updates.

Basically, you can tap the box when the car is stopped, but, IMO, if you haven’t heard here that there is a real update, there ain’t one.

I expect one in June. Hope springs eternal.
