Prices paid on 2022 RDX
For those willing to share --
What did you pay for your 2022 RDX? Local dealer here has a markup which I'm refusing to pay.
Post MSRP for your trim and what you paid.

I'm from Canada and I got the Platinum Elite A Spec ( A Spec Advanced in the US ) for $58500 CAD ( pre tax and freight ) which converts to 46333 USD. I also got the protection package (A-Spec All-Season Floor Mats and Folding Cargo Tray) for free.
I would say I got below msrp since I got the mats for free and no additional fees were applied, I didn't even have an administration fee either.

ASPEC/ADVANCE Apex Blue pearl purchased in January 2022 @ MSRP of $52,845 as when I inquired about it, it was before the new year price increase so they honored it. Traded in 2019 RDX Advance at $38k with 50k miles. This is in the Chicagoland area.

2022 Advance
I paid MSRP - pre-January, 2022 price and money-factor increases - in February, 2022 but got $7k over lease buyout on my 2020 Advance. I was only 18 months into a 36-month lease and had 15k miles on the clock.
So net/net, payments on the new 2022 lease were $25/month LESS than on the 2020 with -0- out of pocket.
2022 build quality is heads and shoulders above my 2020.
Dealership sold my 2020 for $3k over what I was paid within days of it being placed in inventory.

Apex Blue Aspec+Advance MSRP + ~1500 in a protection package that was not negotiable. Then add tax+title+fees. If I am remembering correctly, the total was near 59K before trade. Purchased after price increase in March 22 - Maryland.

Intermediate
'22 Acura A-spec, MSRP (which was $48,195) when I bought it at the end of January. It was the only new RDX they had available at the time and had just come in. Traded in a '20 RDX/Tech.

Just an FYI, there is a website, markups.org, that has user supplied info on what dealers are charging for a markup, or if they are not charging one. You can sort, etc., so for example sorting under Acura has 7 dealers, of which 4 do not have a markup. There is info on when this was posted. Of course, accuracy of whats on the website...who knows, but it may point you in a direction if you want to avoid the dealers charging a markup (like....all of us do) and may be far cheaper, or fit some other vacation/roadtrip plans to fly from California to Washington or Texas and then drive the car home, or whatever. For me, just supporting the dealers not charging a markup would be well worth it.

Advice Welcome
Hi all! I have had my 2022 MDX Advance for about 8 months now. It has 2300 miles on it. I stopped by my Acura dealer to see what I can get for it (I have to sell it back to Acura anyway). they offered me $55,000 for mine (it does have a very minor accident on CARFAX since I was rear-ended at a red light). This is the quote I received for the RDX. He also told me it will be cheaper if I go 7,500 miles and wait until the 2023 release since the residual will be higher. I will go ahead and sell my MDX back and will usue a relatives vehicle until the 2023 comes in if I decide to go that route. I usually put 10k miles on my vehicles every 2 years so the 7,500 should be more than adequate. Do y'all think I should try other dealers to see if I can get even more for my MDX? My salesman has this one coming in within the next week. I need to drive it and all to make sure it won't be too little for my needs but I love the look of the new ASPEC Advance. The MDX is just too large for me (I traded a 2019 MDX that didn't feel this large) and the gas mileage is insane (12.6/13.1 mpg). Any advice is welcome! BTW, my dealer sells at MSRP but adds the pro pack (all weather mats, splash guards, and cargo tray) and ceramic coating (which is new for them).

My advice worth nothing) - keep driving your MDX till you are ready to trade it in. Go to a few other dealers to get pricing, also try carman and carvana (both can be done online). Not sure how the residual will go up once its a model year old? Also, looks like that dealer adds a $1+K of accessory and paint protection - which sounds steep!
Don't expect MPG to be significantly higher on the RDX SHAWD - as mine is averaging 20mpg over 8k miles. City is 17ish and hwy at normal speeds is 23-25.

Quite a few analyses are showing that the chip shortage is alleviating in certain areas and will significantly ease by the end of this year. Car lots are filling up again in my area and there are deals to be had (this is manufacturer specific for now, though). Also, gas prices will probably remain high and this will have an impact on vehicles that don't get the best MPG. Point being if you have the option to drive another vehicle and offload this one, now may be the best time and if you wait too long you may see the value decrease significantly.
And used MDXs are dropping quickly in my area (Philly) and a few I have been watching are decreasing by $1000+ every few days.
