Here is the link from the infotainment screen. There is a link on that page to release notes, but they are currently stuck on the D.1.1.2 update and haven't been updated to D.1.1.4 yet.

I know there are some iOS beta testers on here, so just FYI the 13.1 Beta 1 from yesterday has absolutely killed CarPlay, at least in my RDX. It flashes on and off constantly at the phone level (both pre and post RDX software update).

I updated last night. (I dont have an SH-AWD model for those who thought it was only for those). Poked around for a bit but didn't see anything significant off the bat. I wasn't expecting Android Auto quite yet - next update should have that (this fall apparently dealerships were told recently).
Hopefully fixes some of the sporadic bugs and issues people have been having. Time will tell...

Finished the update. It would only scroll through my first 2 FM presets (had this problem many times before). Also loading my USB still stuck on "initializing" unless I unplug it. Boot up time still painfully long about 45 seconds. So no improvements to my system so far.

This update is a bust, after months of waiting for infotainment fixes we get zero improvement. I really feel that it will NEVER EVER be fixed. Too bad as I really like the car but I also would like a bug free infotainment system.

That’s a strong statement, Never ever 😂😂

Wish I read this 2 minutes ago. My phone is updating to iOS 13.1 Beta 1 as I type this I'll try to remember to follow up on my experience with CarPlay and 13.1 later today.
#51
Please do, if yours is okay I'll try to do some additional troubleshooting on the phone side outside of a soft reset.

Just tried CarPlay and it works so far. Even the skips that typically happen quite a bit after initially plugging in/starting car did NOT occur. Have to take a little road trip later and see how it all behaves.

I anticipate that the release notes will be posted here but I'm only seeing the February 13 update at this time.

I installed the RDX update and my iPhone is on IOS 13 Beta 6 which is the current Public release. Not sure how you are saying iOS 13.1 Beta 1 since 13.0 has not even been released yet. If you work for Apple or are maybe are a developer you might have a newer version but 13.1 beta, I doubt it.

Apple employee, no. Developer, yes. iOS 13.1 Beta 1 was released yesterday following last week's release of iOS 13.0 Beta 8.

I stand corrected then. When I had a developer account Apple was not doing Public Betas. Just odd that Apple would have a 13.0 golden master and already working on a 13.1 version. But thinking about it, it might be that 13.0 is good enough to run on new IOS hardware that's due to be released soon and they need to load it on newly built HW.

Anyone else get the exclamation mark denoting an update, but when checking for updates it says there is no update? Is there any way to force an update as I seem to be stuck in this loop?
#58
Fixed the clock issue
Ran this update and the only thing that I noticed that is fixed is my clock is no longer off an hour. CarPlay crashed less then 1 minute after the update. Still no Android.

Over the last week or two I have seen some false exclamation marks, but with today's exclamation mark there was a for real update and it went to D1.1.4. I don't see much difference, so maybe this is just a maintenance update to fix bugs with no enhancements as part of it. In a way that might be a good thing not mixing bug fixing and adding new features together. Stabilize first and then enhance on the next update with Android support, etc.

I think you are right on that. Patches that are done to the car as a car and not an entertainment system are done by the dealer service department to fix a problem. The third kind of update I am still in the dark on with nothing being put out that I can hang my hat on - navigation map updates.

Yeah I’ve done the cable thing. It’s basically a brand new Apple cable. And yes I took the lint out of the port. It’s the system. I deal with it. I don’t get mad like some people.

The new changelog is out and all they added was ‘graphics update’ and solved the clock issue.
There’s nothing else changed. Any other changes felt otherwise is most likely placebo effect and/or other bugs.

List of bug fixes keeps getting longer and longer. Looks like each update, while fixing a few bugs, creates many more new ones. Seems typical of spaghetti code and lack of any kind of central system architecture that is so prevalent in today's software development environment.

3 pages of changes and fixes. Even though I haven't had any issues with my infotainment, this should have come much sooner than the last update in February.
All in all, I am happy to see this update.

Well, that's disappointing. The changes in the D.1.1.4 version are only the first two items:
•Clock displays incorrect time and/or time zone by one hour.
• Graphics update.
All of the line items following that are copied over from the D.1.1.2 changelog.

Just updated mine but can't remember where to find release notes. Can anyone share a link?
My first impression is that the update reset my home screen icons, removed all user-defined home screen shortcuts (nav, contacts), and all my navigation favorites within the navigation app have disappeared but it still tells me they exist. It's a pain to have to set all this back up and hopefully future updates won't keep doing this.
