Over The Air (OTA) Software Update D.1.1.2
#241
I performed the upgrade today (USA) and I went form version 1.0.4 to 1.1.2 without any issues. The update available indicated 1.0.7 but the final update after the update completed was 1.1.2 after 15-20 minutes and three restarts. I will have to test this over the next week or so to determine if anything is different with my unit. I noticed the zoom feaure is working for the navigation currently.

Yes. It resolved itself about 5 days later. I got the little (!) in my notification area once again. This time I pulled over into a shopping center parking lot and sat there until the update finished. I didn't want to take any chances and it turned out fine.

I have been wanting to update the software, but when I go to look for the software update, it just has the spinning circle and doesn't load anything to install.
I did receive the email from Acura when the update was supposedly available.

My car's update process would constantly crash upon starting the car up and even the dealer was unsure of how of resolve it after a "hard reset" they had performed. It would constantly give me the "Unfortunately acura.updateservice has stopped working".
After ignoring this for a few weeks I decided to try a factory reset, and to my surprise after the factory reset, the infotainment system booted up and went right to updating as intended. So just a tip for those who are having issues updating, try a factory reset prior.

Does anyone else get a "function not available" when changing the Sirius channel with the left steering wheel scroll? I always have to use the center screen to change it which moves the Nav to the smaller screen on the right.

We have this happen. Usually powering off the audio with the button on the left side of the steering wheel for 15 or 20 seconds and then turning the power back on will fix it. Sometimes it takes a couple of pushes on the scroll after powering the audio on again for the stations to switch normally.

I specifically tried this earlier today with no problems. Worked as it should, scrolling right or left, regardless of whether it was on the large or small screen.

I also have this issue once in a while. Similar to DWG's response I turn off the audio power on the steering wheel and then turn it back on (I don't wait before turning it back on) and everything works fine.

I updated our loaner rdx (canada ) and noticed that as others have mentioned, when loading xm the spinning circle appears, I was able to get rid of it by going to fm and going back to xm.
I also notcied the reverse camera gridelines disappeared.
This rdx was super laggy and buggy before the update and 1.12 drastically improved it, but its not perfect.
The camera issue is also happening to 2018/19 accords that had the last update. I have a 19 accord and it came with the latest update so I haven't had any issue, but it still has rebooted three times while using Android auto.
We just got my wife's rdx back today after a month and (knocks on wood) we havent had any issues with her system so I'm not going to fix what isn't broken.
I don't like these new infotainment systems. My 2017 accord was perfect while running android auto and carplay. Go figure.
