2020 RDX A-Spec sh-awd with10k miles and have 70% oil left and a B6 service being displayed. This shows as a rear diff service. Should I already be getting this? Isn't that a little early for rear diff fluid or is that for the sh-awd?

I did not get that nearly as quick. Had mine done at 15K, and did not get the B6, but the car was in for service, and the SH-AWD fluid should be kept current.

Do you tow? Go up and down mountains? Have other heavy use?

Nah I baby this thing. No towing, no real hilly driving. Average 22mpg over the 9k miles easy driving

Yeah, something in your usage pattern is on the list of things that shorten the interval.

The Maintenance Minder is always watching.

Its roughly at 15k, 45k, 75k.... but will vary. First one is always sooner on all Acuras SH-AWD

I have owned several Hondas and Acuras. If you drive a lot of highway miles, you will extend intervals. City, stop and go, driving will shorten the life. Yep, it is all built into the Maint. Minder and its operation.

I assume that you have already had your very first Maintenance Minder service, because the first one should be just an oil change. I also assume that you had this first MM oil change done almost immediately when the warning first came on at 15%. Possibly around the 8K mile mark.

Since you say say you still have 70% life remaining, then your warning should not even be on. If you are looking at the Maintenance screen on the mid, you are just seeing a preview of what your next upcoming service WILL BE (a B6). When you reach 15% a reminder will pop up on the MID, and you can clear it by pushing the button on the steering wheel. The warning will continue to pop up on each subsequent start of the engine until the work is done.

I just had my second service (including rear diff fluid) last week at 20,000 KMs. My first service was at 10,000 KMs

Correct. This version of the MM shows pending services much sooner than previous versions. In the past, nothing would show until you got to 15% remaining oil life unless you ( or the dealer ) "forced" the display.

The thing that has not changed, is that all intervals other than oil change are fixed. The MM just tries to schedule them along with oil changes for convenience. 1st rear diff service should be at about 15k miles.
