IBS Intelligent Battery Sensor 38920-TJB-A02 help needed

Hello,
I'm looking for some info on the IBS. Today I swapped in a new battery in our 2022 RDX. The negative assembly has the main thick negative cable and a small connector that I did not remove. I thought I could just bend the cable backwards. No such luck. The wires from the connector broke off. Sigh. I've been looking around and discovered this harness/cable attaches to the IBS module under the battery post connector.
  • there is a blue wire
  • there is a white wire
  • the part number is 38920-TJB-A02
Some questions I have now are
  • which cable goes to which pin of the IBS?
  • does anyone have a pin out of the IBS?
  • what happens if I swap the wires/install backwards?
I do have some electronic parts with header/jumper cables - think Raspberry PI/Ardurino jumpers. I tried those with no success, the pins on the IBS just pushed the pin connectors back. In addition the wires in those jumpers are half as thick as the copper wires in the harness.

The car now has (2) alerts.
  • the auto-idle alert - when stopped at a light the engine will not turn off/on
  • charging system failure - since the IBS is not connected I'm guessing that flags a fail in the big brain
So. Ideas?

I'm a new/just registered member I don't know if I can upload pics yet. I'll test that in a bit.
