I messed up
I owned a 2015 and 2017 Acura RDX prior to buying the 2019 I have now. I really do not know where to start but the biggest gripe I have is being to stupid to trade me 2017 with the fabulous six cylinder motor for the lurching buzzy turbo four. Anyone else feel this way?

IMO, the problem is spending only 2 years with the 2017. Did you also have the 2015 for 2 years too?
There are no perfect cars, but the entire package of the 2019 is, IMO better than the entire package of the 2017. Besides, 4s are buzzier than 6s. Did you not know that, or not feel it on the test drive?

Please give us step by step explanation of your buying process, so we don't do the same mistakes. In the following format:
1. You read some reviews
2. You watched some videos
3. You cross shopped

Did the dealer hold a gun to your head and make you buy it? I'm not trying to be an asshole but I'm genuinely confused as to how someone buys a car and then complains about something that should have been so obvious during even a 10 minute test drive. That's like me buying a SUV and then getting upset because I didn't realize it was an SUV when I bought it....

I couldn’t be happier with my 2019 RDX, I would never want the older models, the 2019 is what turned me to get one in the first place, the older ones are just blah

It is stupid, but I feel the same way... It's just that it takes me like six months to know weather or not I regret buying it, and the first two months are purely spent honeymooning...

That being said, I'm sure I'd still enjoy driving it if I had the opportunity, it's just a different driving experience.
OP sounds more like a Lexus RX kind of guy.

I bet you really wouldn't. Unless of course driving a loaf of tofu on wheels is your thing

Had I noticed the engine vibrations during my test drive, I would never have bought the RDX and lost $5,000 in depreciation trading it off a few months later. As it turns out, the engine vibrations were only in reverse and I never used reverse during my test drive, so I didn't discover this issue until the next morning. There is no "right of rescission" in Texas for automobile purchases and the nearest Acura dealer is a 3-hour round trip for me.
I understand Acura issued a TSB for the engine vibration and a few infotainment updates have been released since I got rid of my RDX, but an I4 engine will sound and feel like an I4 engine...because physics.

I traded a 2017 Ridgeline and 2018 Accord for a 2019 RDX. In just over three months, I had more engine vibrations, transmission jerkiness, and infotainment system problems than I could stand and traded it for a 2019 Ridgeline. I enjoyed the interior materials, exterior design, and incredible audio system in the RDX, but I like the smoother V6 engine and transmission and quieter, more comfortable ride in the Ridgeline.

Only every morning when backing out my garage and every evening when backing out of my parking space at work. None of the other 28 automobiles I've owned ever vibrated in reverse when the engine was cold like my RDX - including a Dodge Neon and Ford Fiesta that cost 1/4th as much as the RDX.

One of the things I love about my RDX is that it accelerates like a rocket ship. I have to confess that I had an issue yesterday with a crappy and rude driver in front of me. There was an opportunity to pass but I knew the driver would try and prevent me from doing so. Unfortunately for him (but good for me), I stepped on the gas and my RDX took off like a rocket and passed the guy before he ever had a chance to react. The acceleration is unreal.

My prior car was faster at all speeds, smoother at all speeds, quieter at all speeds. But IMO this car is a worthy successor, and is fast enough, smooth enough, and quiet enough, and $25K less expensive than a direct replacement of my prior car with all the features of the RDX. You pays your money and you takes your choice.

Looks like the OP was paid y Infiniti QX50 marketing department and he ran away lol!
I have watched like dozens of 2019 RDX and all of them have been great but there is one that clearly was paid by Infiniti. That review was autoguide one, which got more thumbs down than up and if you read the comments, everyone says: "How much did Infiniti pay you for this review?"

I’ve owned all three generations and have posted this before. I agree with the OP that the six cylinder and its transmission mate made a great combo. I really liked my 2016 AWD Advance. The 2019 AWD Advance is in a different category in so many respects, IMHO.

The torque vectoring is amazing. I got a better feel for it in the rain today. Still haven't spun the tires. But I assume, one o' these days I will.
