My 1920's garage is particularly narrow because it has side rails for the door and those side rails curve outward as they go up - meaning that the lower the mirrors, the easier it fits in the garage.
In normal times, I'd either take a new RDX for a test drive and see if it fits in my garage - or just go measure one on the dealer lot. But these aren't normal times!
So, any chance any of you guys know the measurement from the ground to the widest part of the side mirror - the part of the mirror the red arrow is pointing at in the attached photo? And, if you know the height of the top and bottom of the mirror (purple and green) arrows, that would also be useful. Hate to order a vehicle that won't fit in the garage.
Thanks
I measured and for the 3 heights that you indicated I got 48.5”, 45 5/8”, and 43.5”. I just got my 2022 RDX Advance earlier this week. Looking at the mirrors for you I was surprised that I couldn’t fold the mirrors in at any time. Prior to ordering the RDX I was aware of several things that the RDX had that my vehicle that I ended up trading in didn’t have. But not being able to fold the mirrors in is the only thing I’ve discovered so far that the RDX doesn’t have but my vehicle that I traded in had. I used to push a button to fold in the mirror when I went thru several drive-thru places. I guess I may end up going into stores instead of their drive-thru at least for a while. Also, I hope others give you measurements so you can see what everybody comes up with.

Your '22 RDX should have power folding mirrors. I thought this was something added to the 22s. Unless I am missing something in your post. Mine is due to arrive in the next 10 days or so.
Thanks very much. To clarify - power folding mirrors don't help my situation. I need to utilize the mirrors to back out of my narrow garage - if they are folded that may make the car a bit narrower but I lose my visual references.

Yes, I do have power folding mirrors when the RDX is locked. What I was hoping for was the ability to fold them when driving, like going thru a narrow drive-thru. I’ve only had my RDX for a few days so maybe that’s possible and I just don’t know how to do it. My sales guy is checking into it.

Thanks RDX-Rick! I now. see where the switch is and I tried it out and it worked. I probably would have found it eventually (I’ve only had the RDX for 4 days now) but I’m glad I know how to do it now!
