So, I found a button to the left of the steering column, didn't know what it was. Took a while to find a reference for it, turns out its a Heated Windshield feature! Canada Only.
I was disappointed that the wipers tucked under the hood and could not be 'stood up' during those rain/ice conditions but with this new feature, maybe not so bad.

Refer to page 549 of the owner's manual for instructions on how to raise the windshield wiper arms. It's a little more involved than with most vehicles, but it is doable. Instead of raising the wiper arms, I use a windshield screen that I bought from Costco.
Right. To change the blades. The “NOTICE” on the right is instructive as to part of what those two articles I shared (and many others) were talking about, among other reasons, as to why it shouldn’t be done ahead of snow / ice storms.
That would be nice, but I can't, the garage is full. It's not a lot of work, it only takes a minute to install. There is one flap on each side that is inserted between the doors and the door jamb and the elastic straps that go around the wing mirrors. No need to scrape the ice from the windshield, just need to wipe the snow from the rest of the vehicle.
