Heated Windshield

So, I found a button to the left of the steering column, didn't know what it was. Took a while to find a reference for it, turns out its a Heated Windshield feature! Canada Only.
I was disappointed that the wipers tucked under the hood and could not be 'stood up' during those rain/ice conditions but with this new feature, maybe not so bad.

From a Canadian website:

Your Corner Wrench: Don’t leave your wipers raised

And another (U.S.):

Ask the Service Team: Windshield Wipers Up or Down Before a Storm?

Refer to page 549 of the owner's manual for instructions on how to raise the windshield wiper arms. It's a little more involved than with most vehicles, but it is doable. Instead of raising the wiper arms, I use a windshield screen that I bought from Costco.

That would be nice, but I can't, the garage is full. It's not a lot of work, it only takes a minute to install. There is one flap on each side that is inserted between the doors and the door jamb and the elastic straps that go around the wing mirrors. No need to scrape the ice from the windshield, just need to wipe the snow from the rest of the vehicle.

You can’t very well take your garage everywhere you go, most especially not those who don’t even have one.

Yeah - and often my car is on surface parking at a park-and-ride lot.
