Not sure about size but per Acura they use glass made to deaden sound. Could be B.S. I'm not sure, but considering how quiet the interior is wind noise wise I believe it's possible. I'm not sure if Honda makes the same claim for the Accord.

Quote from my 2003 Civic Brochure
Exterior Features: "Heat-Rejecting Green-Tinted Glass"

That's also a TL feature, although the TL also has the extra-thick plastic laminate. (All windshields have plastic sandwiched between glass layers).

(People need to be careful when implying the Civic is a cheaply built car. It isn't. Mine also has automatic climate control and the bumpers and other body parts fit better than the TL's).

I had a 90 Civic. I loved it. Kept it 3 years which was a record for me. Since then, I trade every year.

wow, a new car every year!

expensive but if you can afford it, it's a good way to avoid mechanic problems...

& No, the windshields are not the same, size or materials.

It's all about budgeting!! However, I feel that I am probably in the TL for at least 2. Mostly for financial reasons. My friends think that I can't do it but I may not have a choice.
