Hand washing issues

I was hand-washing the the wifes 2020 rdx a-spec sh-awd with the hose and the bucket and the sponges. The lights and door locks kept activating and reactivating the whole time i was doing it. Decided that her key fob in my pocket was interfering so i threw her fob in the rdx and that seemed to help. Whats going on here? I thought maybe it was the walk away feature but i never set that up on her key fob only mine. Then i thought maybe it was because i pushed my memory setting when i got in to move it out of the garage to the driveway and it remembered that i set up the walk away feature on my fob. Anybody else have this issue happen to them?

This is normal. The water hitting the sensors on the door handles does it. Either leave the fob in the house while washing, place it inside the RDX, or don't let it bother you. This has happened to every keyless start car I have had starting in 2007. It is stated in the manual as well.

I leave the FOB in my MDX to when hand washing so the doors/folding side mirrors are not activating/deactivating as I walk around the car. The vehicle shouldn't lock with the FOB inside the car (you will need the second FOB to lock the keys inside the car).

I noticed the same thing when I was washing the car. Tailgate kept opening too.

Ditto with the RDX.

Yea this happens with all of my keyless entry cars. I just take it out of my pocket while I'm washing.
