Gear Shifting

I noticed that my RDX doesn't shift into second gear quickly when driving. Anyone else?
Is there any fix for this?

If it only does this when the engine/drive train is cold that's normal. If it happens when everything is up to operating temperature then it should be looked into.

Try driving in Sport mode. From our experience you get the same MPG as Comfort and the transmission is smoother.

I had a rough shifting from 2nd to 3rd took it into dealer who stayed “found there is a pgm-fi software update. Performed update and idle relearned”

shifting issues are now fixed smooth going between 2nd and 3rd gear now where before there was a shudder

Has anyone had issues with harsh shifting after break in period? Mine was fine until about 22k kms, but for the past 2k its been very unreliable. Its jerks both in upshift and downshift on the first 4 gears, only when I drive at a leisurely pace. If I push it hard it shifts as it should...butter smooth. I am plan on asking Acura to have a look at it when the next oil change is due, but any feedback from fellow RDX owners would be appreciated.
