Does the RDX come with Traffic Jam assist?
I see that it comes with Acura Watch with low speed follow and Lane Keeping Assist but it isn't clear if it puts those two features together into the traffic jam assist option like in the RLX. Specifically can I set the car to follow the car in front of me in low speed traffic and let the car drive itself with me monitoring it?

Not sure it is called traffic jam assist, but it will follow the leading car (the one in front of you) and come to a complete stop, then start up again, if the stop is less than about 5 seconds. If longer, just tap gas pedal or hit resume on the cruise control
I have found that with Adaptive Cruise Control on driving on local street (lane keep not activated), if you change lane, it is better to deactivate and reactivate the cruise control again.
I have had many occasions where after I changed lane, it would not detect the car in front of me on the new lane.

It doesn't work at all for me as it has led me right into the middle of major traffic jams on numerous occasions when it could have easily detoured around it. I cannot wait for AA to be available so I can use Waze again.

I don't think the OP is referring to the NAV system re-routing due to traffic slowing or being stopped.
I don't think the 2019 RDX comes with traffic jam assist (not documented anywhere in the car specs versus how it is described in the 2018 RLX docs). Given how traffic jam assist works on the 2018 RLX, allowing to follow at speeds <25 mph, and the RDX ACC with LSF deactivates, below 25 mph, according to Acura literature, they are not the same systems, in my opinion. Close, but not the same.
Not to hijack the thread, but the dealer had my car for 5 days for the inconsistent collision mediation warning and a clunking sound from the rear cargo area. Service Adviser told me the Tech drove two other RDX they have and they both operated the same way as mine
The collision mediation on the 2019 TLX A-spec they loaned me during that period appeared to work better and I have told them that
Anyway, I have emailed Acura Customer Relation about all the issues that I am having and got the initial call a couple of days ago. Now waiting for the 2nd call to confirm the next step (I requested that they send a Field Technician to meet me at the dealership to help them troubleshoot.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback, my wife and I drove a RDX today to test this feature and as others have noted it doesn't have steering under 40 mph so I had to keep my hands on the wheel but otherwise it mostly handled the stop and go traffic without any substantial issues. On the interstate it was awesome, I set it to 70 mph and it would hit that speed and keep it in the lane without any issues. If someone got in front of me or if a car in front slowed down it would slow down to match it and would keep pace.
A few caveats to those looking for these features:
1) When the car comes to a complete stop for more than a few seconds you have to hit resume for it to start moving again. Not a significant issue for me but it isn't as nice as some of the more advanced features such as on a Model 3
2) When following a car in front of me in slower traffic if the car in front turns out of the lane, such as into a parking lot, it is slow to realize that the car is gone creating a slight delay that probably annoys anyone following you closely.
3) It generally is pretty smooth to slow down and accelerate but once it reacted surprisingly hard to a car in front braking a little. I would describe it as a hard brake but not jarring. Enough for our daughter in the back seat to look up but not be startled.

The RDX has driver assistance, not driver replacement. I just came back from a round trip to Florida, 1300 miles each way. ACC with stop and go worked perfectly, and sure made driving in traffic easier. But you still have to drive the car; the driver assistance takes a load off, for sure, but it does not replace having the driver do the driving.
