Lately, when I’m in my car and after about 7 minutes, my iPhone will disconnect from the car and then reconnect after about 15 seconds. This has happened every time I’m in the car in the past couple weeks and always at the same time interval, around 7 minutes after start up. I’m usually playing music through my phone and using google maps for navigation. Once or twice the iPhone never reconnected and I had to wait to turn off the car to restart it. Has anyone else had this issue and know of a fix?

FYI, I am using an iPhone 7 with an apple lightning cord.

I’d try a cable swap first. Hard to know for sure, but that’s an easy test.

I use carplay play all the time and haven’t had an issue with it dropping out.
