I have only had mine for 2 full weeks, but I have had absolutely none of the problems that I have read about in this forum (too many problems mentioned to list every one).
The car is perfect at this point. The infotainment system loads as quickly as any vehicle I have been in recently, I would say faster than my 2016 for sure.
I became accustomed to the new style touch pad within 2 days, and I can pretty well select items on the screen 9 times out of 10 without looking, and that should improve with practice.
The LKAS is way better than my 2016. It isn't great in curves, but it can follow a reasonably straight road forever because it does not have the 15 second timeout.
The ACC with stop & go works flawlessly. The 2016 disengaged at speeds below 50 kph.
The only problem is with the AcuraLink. It updates somewhat faster than the 2016 does, It also accepts all commands I send to the car like Lock Doors, Honk Horn, Flash Lights, Start Engine, and Send Destinations. It also keeps me updated on the status of the car like Doors Locked?, Lights On?, Tire Pressures, etc, etc. The only problem is that the gas level never changes, and the odometer and range never change. These all read the same as they did the day I picked it up. I plan to wait for the next AcuraLink update on the Google store before I report this.
If there is one particular problem you want me to check in particular, let me know.

I have the same issue with my AcuraLink app...the psi and "last updated date/time" update but the fuel, odo, and oil life haven't updated since I first setup the app. They just released an app update today for iOS, I installed it but it didn't fix that issue. I've also removed the app and reinstalled it but that didn't fix it either.
I don’t believe there’s any change between 2019 and 2020 with the exception of the white paint option.
Agree. Often times there are behind the scenes changes, fixes, updates, manufacturing changes, supplier changes or improvements that are not published.
My 2020 has updated all the time, right now it shows my fuel is red and my tires are at 49 and 48 psi not 46 due to heat today I assume. However I cannot send an address to the car unless the car is on which kind of defeats the purpose of sending an address if I have to be in the car. The driving systems all seem to work well. It will bring my car to a dead stop and if I am willing to wait a long time it will start back up. Curves are kind of hit or miss, but speed limit signs Stevie Wonder could do a better job reading them. I have passed signs on both sides of the road and not had the speed limit in the HUD change.
Speaking of HUD I love the HUD and it is my favorite thing right now but you can't show it to anyone as they have to look over your shoulder to see it .
I have found the nav system to be slow to load at times and not very good at finding places by name. I also have a Ford with the older 2nd gen Sync and it runs circles around the NAV system, I think my 2006 MDX probably worked better to tell the truth.
I really like the touch pad especially for answering and hanging up calls. I have had touchscreen cars and the pad is so much better just wish the keyboard was larger and the drawing each letter just does not work, how can it tell a 5 from an S or an 8 from a B and how do you do an E
Radio does not seem to like having the sound come from the rear which I prefer so I can talk to the other person in the car.
Interior lights where are they all I have is two lights in the headliner?

Can you please post the version numbers of the infotainment systems Software and Hardware please? Thanks!
Wondering if there are any 2020 owners here with initial feedback?
I picked up a 2019 RDX Advance, build date 3/19. I've had it for a few weeks, put about 80 miles on it every day and I've been very lucky thus far compared to many of the issues I've read about here and on FB. The only potential "issue" I have is a strange 1 or 2 click noise coming from the wheel wells while going around turns. It's not loud at all but it's somewhat annoying and very consistent. I plan on bringing it in to get looked at soon. Only other "issue" is when I stream music from my iPhone while connected via USB, it's a little choppy randomly for about 30 seconds and then it cleans itself up. Other than those "issues" the car is such a blast to drive.

So a user on a FB group mentioned they had a similar issue with AcuraLink as you and I. He recommended disabling "share data" in the iPhone app and in the car app, let it sync/accept the changes, and then go back in to both apps and allow "share data" and let it sync. It worked for me, now all the data in syncing properly. Hope this helps.
My 2020 RDX Advance is a month old with just over 1000 miles. It has been almost perfect so far. No problems with the car but I had the exact same problem with Acura Link that RDX Rick has (above). Rick, if you're listening, I had that problem for about the first week. I was just getting ready to call for help when bingo! The range, fuel level and odometer readings popped in with no action by me. Since then it has been fine.
Have the 2019 (not 2020) now for close to two months and have 2,400 miles on it. No issues with the Acuralink iOS app refreshing or showing the correct fuel, mileage or tire pressure. It is possible that Acura fixed a good many of the issues from many months ago by the time my car was in production sometime in April 2019- just my guess.

I couldn't find the settings for "Share Data". but I did find one for "Vehicle Data Collection", and I enabled it today and resolved the problem. .
If you read the description of this setting,it sounds like you would only enable it if you wanted to give Acura access to your location and diagnostic information. I disabled this the day I picked up the RDX. Since AcuraLink was already able to show my RDX's location on the map, I never considered this setting as being relative to my problem.
For any of you who want to check this setting, select "AcuraLink" from the Home menu. Click on the menu in the top right corner (3 horizontal bars).
Check if "Vehicle Data Location" is "Allowed". If it is not then allow it and check your Acuralink again.
Oh - Trust me you will and BTW how long have you possessed your RDX?
You are correct.
I have had my 2020 for about 4 weeks and driven almost 1800 miles without a problem.
On Wednesday I took a 270 mile trip, and when I was about a half hour from my destination, I noticed that my HUD was no longer giving me updated navigation information. The speed information limit also disappeared from the HUD and the MID.
The LCD screen was still giving me NAV data (fortunately) but I could not change my music source or adjust the volume. I was on a multi-lane highway, so I couldn't do much experimenting. I tried the 3-button reboot , but it had no effect. When I arrived at my destination I turned off the ignition and opened my door, but the music didn't die. I restarted the engine and everything was working properly. I shut off the engine and the music stopped as expected. There were no further problems at all during the trip back home.
I know that posting my claim that I had no problems was going to jinx me.
In my case it always seems like the various issues new and old happen during a longer drive or/and if the Infotainment system is doing a lot of tasks. It is like the system has trouble chewing gum and walking at the same time. Not always the case but longer trips Is almost a guarantee that something with the system will act up.
The longer the issues go on the more likely it is that the glitches will never be resolved IMHO. Over a year now and nothing. Worse is the 2020 is out, the problems remain and Acura is just throwing up their hands.
No difference, same versions in 2019's. Thanks for posting
In your opinion, does it mean for sure 2020 will perform the same as 2019 or other things might influence (such as hardware, but I’d be surprised it changed)

I do not have the hardware (Infotainment related) versions so hard to tell. Some 2020 owners say the system seems snappy and have had no problems (yet) . My Infotainment system always seemed sluggish to me like a underpowered CPU. Would be nice to know if the hardware has been updated though.
i have 2200 miles on my 2020 rdx tech. The headliner has a major defect. It has been "repaired' twice and it keeps coming back worse than the previous service visit. I will be escalating this up the food chain at Acura tomorrow. The service guy said he thinks it is a molding issue from a supplier.
Look at list of TSBs for 2019 and 2020. 2020 list is smaller as some of those TSBs are already applied. they probably updated hardware on infotainment, but can't confirm it. I would say overall 2020 will require less visits to the dealer.
I have the 2020 and I have brake squeal for certain and the noise from the suspension. The squeal is only for 1-4 stops with gentle application and then it's gone. They have no solution for this so I will report it but I do not think anything will be done. The suspension noise has happened 2 times in 1200 miles so it's not consistent enough to do anything about but I will have it looked at when I get the first oil change. I do not believe that they have a solution for this either so there is no point taking it in.
Infotainment has been fine and I have nothing to report. No flood of lights, crashing, etc.
The adaptive cruise also applied the brake once on the highway for no reason but I think it was just confused by a car moving around in the right lane. Honestly, it's not as good as the Subaru eyesight system in my other car.
Overall, I do not have any defects that REQUIRE a trip to the dealer.
I bought a 2020 RDX BASE. Has anyone experienced poor ride quality? Steering wheel vibrations and not a smooth ride? I can feel the vibrations in the seat. Above 80mph its rides perfect.

Tell your dealer. My 2019 wasn’t smooth when I first got it, wheels were out of balance from the factory. They did a high speed balance and it was fine.
I've had Zero issues with my June 2018 built/bought Advance, SHAWD with 14K miles. I did perform the Software updates on the Infotainment System. No brake squeal or suspension noise. I have No interest in Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and only use XM Radio, Handsfree Phone Link & Navigation a few times a month. This is my 5th Acura (2 MDX & 2 RDX before) with no issues on any of those. My wife still has the second RDX, a 2014, AWD, Tech. I went to Acura after having a 2004 Lexus RX330 with dash rattles that required dismantling the entire dash, jerky transmission, and poor quality work at my local Lexus Service Dept.
I have a 2020 Tech package. According to the door sticker build date was May 2019. The seal around the glass roof looks a little bulgy but I'm not too worried about it. And it does not start occasionally while sitting in my garage with the cell phone. Hopefully nothing else pops up because my dealer is over 2 hours away. I took a little leap of faith based on Honda quality and then started reading reviews around here and got a little faint hearted...lol.
Bought my 2019 A-Spec SHAWD in September 2018. Other than occasional Infotainment issues (still have them but less often) I have experienced ZERO build or mechanical issues. I now have 9k miles on it. Infotainment aside I would probably purchase another one when my lease is up next year unless I decide I can afford a Porsche Macan S :-). I really enjoy driving the RDX and its the right size. Start car, turn dial to Sport+ and go.........

Mine has not been excellent but it has been OK - the driving dynamics have been excellent though. I actually got the RDX advance over a Macan 2.0T because when I added some options it went over $55k in a blink and the probably close to $60k similarly equipped. I liked the Macan S but it was out of my price range when equipped the way I wanted.
I like this car overall, the way it drives and enough power and boost for me. The only thing I wish is that acceleration hesitation was not there and there might be some questions about quality.

I too have a 2020 base and it rides great, no complaints at all
I have not experienced any of the issues many of you are bringing up. Its kinda funny because I have the base model and was given the advance when dealer was installing some accessories. It was a 2020, brand new with 35 miles on it. I had it for a week and experienced more issues with that RDX than my own. If I had spent the extra money for the advance, I would be pissed.

"Issues"? I have a "late" 2019 built in March of '19 if I recall. It did have the brake squeak but the dealer put the new rotors on and cured that 100%. (those new rotors did made the brakes smoother..feel so nice now). As for other issues I can not say that I have had anything to make a fuss over. On one or two times there was some minor entertainment or GPS hang up but a quick Off and On resolved it without issue. !5,000 miles and a year of driving and I really can't complain about this car. I have no quality concerns, no squeaks, my moon roof fits perfectly, no strange noises, and like every car I have ever owned (except my Fit) it uses "too much gas". :-)
So, I can't comment on "issues" as I have not had any noteworthy issues in the past year.
I know why Consumer Reports calls out the massive problems with this model since redesign - it stinks.
Bought '20 tech in Jan '20 (2 mos ago) We've had the car 60 days and I'm on my 5th trip back to the dealer. We're Honda/Acura loyalists, this being our 9th Honda/Acura vehicle and it's an embarrassment to the brand.
Within the first month we had to have lower control arm bushings replaced, which is a known problem that they're still not repairing but selling this way. The brakes constantly squeal and there's no TSB, so no resolution. The lift gate was misaligned and damaged the tailgate trim and the Acura rep wants to "sand down the clear-coat" to smooth the damage versus replacing the trim - on a NEW car, and it has the worst leather seat upholstery stitching and assembly I've ever seen.
It's also a gas guzzler, averaging 17.5 in mixed driving and only 20 or 21 on 500 mile highway drive. It doesn't even approach the EPA numbers on the window sticker, EVER. All the complexity of a four cylinder turbo w/10 speed transmission to get what MPG? Huh? My Toyota pick-up does better, and I'm a harder driver than my wife who drives the RDX.
The only bright side is that the dealer is great, but they can't make up for a poorly designed and manufactured vehicle.
There are much better choices. This car is an abomination. Honda/Acura isnt' the manufacturer it once was. I'd expect to see more class action suits. This was two days into ownership - Picked it up at night, didn't see the misaligned/pulled/puckered assembly - seats look like a car with 70K miles. Look at seatback side bolster, already puckered, this was the second day we owned it, this is embarrassing quality. Top edge of the rear window trim/spoiler that chipped off because it was contacting with rear edge of roof, and dimpled the top. Acura representative wanted to "sand it down" versus replace. Car has 3K miles/2 mos old. Tailgate misaligned - but wan't initially misaligned.
