Question,
why is that I can see the title and song, album cover etc but when i click android auto and google maps, this is no longer visible, is this a limitation within android auto?

 

acura treats android auto as a single "app", as such it can only be used on one screen at a time

 

That is an interesting explanation. I never thought about it this way. If true, that would explain it. (Not doubting you, I just have no idea)

 

From what I've heard, Acura needs to update how the infotainment utilizes the two screens. It's not an Android Auto issue....but an Acura issue. A part of me thinks that Acura wants people using their navigation so they limit what can be done when Google maps and music are running.
