is it possible to put a 5 spd auto tranny from a 00-03 TL-P and just switch ECU's also on my 99 4 spd auto??? the reason why i ask is cuz my trannys going bad and i think itll be easier trying to find a 5 spd then a 4 spd

 

I'm sure you could however you would need an ecu like you stated in your question.

I would stick with the 4-speed as there are fewer failures than it's younger brother. Something to think about.
