Acuralink App Not Functioning - Subscription Error
Haven't seen this yet, but..... Last month I added more time to our Security (now expiring 05/03/23) and Remote (now expiring 11/03/22). I got an email on May 4th stating services were deactivated and to reactivate via online or by calling. I figured it was just a glitch/automated email based on the original expiring. Welp, sure enough my app is now useless, no tire pressure, no location info, nada. When I go to 'Manage Subscriptions" within the app, it shows everything expired as of 05/03/22. When I check outside of the app, it verifies those original extensions that were paid for.
I called Acuralink, they stated there was a new update last week causing this issue for numerous people, and to delete the app and reinstall, versus just ensuring it was updated. Did that, and still nothing. Is anyone else dealing with this?

No issues here. I have the Remote subscription and app version 4.5.4. Everything seems to be working as well as it ever has (such that it is).

Looking at the App store reviews, looks like it is a recent thing. Someone reviewed Monday that they paid from trial to subscription, and they lost their Remote functions once the date rolled around. Another on Saturday saying the update killed their access, (but they didn't mention anything about their subscription status). I suspect it's something on the back-end between their payment/account server not communicating with the Acuralink servers, so Acuralink thinks there is not an active subscription. Ugh, welp, ticket submitted so I'll see what they do.

Correct, you get a case number someone will call you back and work with you 1:1 until it's resolved. It's something about provisioning on their side, it happened after I renewed my subscription and it stopped working.

Also, seems weird to me, but he mentioned not being surprised if they need my password for the app. That’s generally a big red flag obviously, but given their issues, it also kinda makes sense if they can’t access whatever settings to reconfigure my app’s access levels. I doubt it’s designed with appropriate architecture for their own techs. /shrug

After the guy made me reload the app and that didn't help, he had me get in the car and access some diagnostic screens using the 3-finger salute. I had to take a pic of one of the screens and email it to him. All the while he was accessing my vehicle remotely.
Based on the pic I sent him he later did some digital voodoo and everything magically started working. I haven't had a problem since.

Good to know, thanks! Do you recall if you needed access to your vehicle? (Spouse works second shift & we just have the RDX. CSR wasn’t sure, though I can’t see why I’d need to be near it…).

Sorry but I'm responding via mobile, no vehicle access required. Do not share your password ever for anything. I didn't have to. However if your blocked from fixing because of it. Change the password to something you don't use elsewhere and give it.

Now that I think of it, I used to receive monthly email Acuralink updates and now I don't. Oh well. Used to enjoy reading the all-important Driver Feedback Scorecard...

Just to update - Issues resolved. After some back/forth phone tag, I spoke to the Tier II CSR on Friday morning. He knew what the issue was, but had to forward it on to someone else to actually implement the change. Told me should be done in a few hours, and he'd try to let me know once it was, if not by EOD Friday then Monday.
Welp, Friday afternoon I checked, and my subscription status had updated within the App, and my Security and Remote features were back, (w/Concierge completely gone, not even showing an expired status). Perfect timing as well, since we went to a WWII air demo this weekend, and the remote start was a blessing to get things cooled down as we walked off the tarmac at the end, haha.
Completely Unrelated - HIGHLY recommend those into WWII history, and/or those with kiddos to attend stuff like that. We splurged since it's a rare opportunity, (and the costs all go towards keeping these planes flying as living history), and took a flight on a C-47 Skytrain. Not just any, but "That's All, Brother", that lead D-Day. Thinking of those young kids jumping out of her....sobering effect for sure.

Glad you got your AcuraLink fixed.

Hello Everyone.
I recently purchased a new MDX
I had AcuraLink with other Acura's and never has the issue. I removed previous vehicles and tried to register this new car. Lo and behold I can't. It keeps telling me that the car ID is registered with a different account. I tried calling AcuraLink but they are dragging their feet for over 3 weeks now. Nothing happens.
Customer Service is terrible. I want too mention I am able to log into "My garage" on the computer and there my car is showed. Same e-mail same log-in credentials. But on my Phone App it keeps telling me that the car is registered to a different account..
What can I do? why 3 weeks later issue is not resolved? I have a 90 days trial grace of some services offered and they have consumed already one month of it....not fair

I just got an update to the app today and afterwards, a bunch of messages came in telling me there are all kinds of problems with my car. Brakes, ABS, stability assist, battery, charging system, etc. I later went out and checked the diagnostic screen and there's nothing wrong. Drove around and it's fine.

You're supposed to get 6 months on Concierge and a year on the Security and Remote packages. At least that's what it used to be.

Nope. The actual travel/trip history (Think it was called Trip History?), that shows the start and end travel times, start and end locations, average speed, and the spots during the trip that had heavy acceleration/braking/speed. Once expanded, it would show the most recent ~dozen or so trips, and you could view the details of each.

I see. On my side, after I activated driver feedback, the button for the history showed up on the main page below the odometer/oil life. Perhaps you can try turning off driver feedback, then re-enabe it to see if the button appears?

4.6.1 released last night/this morning. It’s fixed, trip history is back for me now. Yay!!! (Gotta take the little wins considering the ‘features’ Acura has ‘invested’ into this app, lol).
