2021 vs 2023 RDX Tech
I have an option to buy 2021 or 2023 RD Tech both CPOs from local Acura dealer. Looking for some feedback on if 2023 is work $5k extra or I shall just go with 2021?

Three Wheelin'
- wireless carplay (don't know about android auto)
- fancy ambient lighting.
- assist features work a little better.
- the instrument cluster is little bit cleaned up (the gauges lose the mile ticks, it shows something has been left in the rear seat, the minimal displays without the word minimal)
- because of bumper redesign I think the parking sensors will be less susceptible to malfunction in the rain (they moved them from the grill to the bumper).
I would go with the 2023 but understand why it's a CPO already--is it a loaner or did someone get rid of a problem car? Not sure for CPO, but for new cars, 2023 comes with 2 years of free maintenance. Probably worth a couple of hundred. Also the 2023 will probably have lower miles? For perspective, my 2019 got me $31k at trade in and my 2023 was $46k before tax.

With the 2022 refresh you get a bunch of small things:

- fancy ambient lighting.

Edit: Also can't believe they can't flash the pre-2022 models to show the digital speedo on the dash and remove that stupid minimal box. Also what the hell were they thinking with the backup cam only taking up part of the screen and a camera icon in the other part of the screen (even in surround view equipped models).

Agree, agree, agree.
Find out why it is a '23 back on the lot already. It could very well be a problem car. Obviously it is not normal to see current year cars for sale used, unless it a loaner they are selling or something. But even a loaner doesn't assure everything is OK. We bought a loaner Land Rover only to find out it had been driven on a flat and the inside of the sidewall was destroyed. Fortunately we were getting the wheels changed out shorty after we bought it and the tire place told us and showed us lots of black 'snowflakes' inside the tire when they took it off. We had already driven to Prescott from Vegas at speeds around 90 and that tire could have easily disintegrated. My experience with getting a loaner when our '19 RDX was in for service at Acura has been about zero, so I would be amazed if they were selling a loaner. Just be suspicious. You are looking at used cars of course, so no matter what you will almost never know a cars history.

I got Silver, was only one available in SH-AWD with Tech so had no color choice. But i am really happy as i also found 2023 is so much more quieter than 2021. I would say as quite as or may be even little more than Lexus RX350

Good color and good call going SH-AWD. It's basically a waste to get the RDX without it IMO. As per quietness, if I recall correctly they added different side glass and more sound deadening to the 2022+ models.
