Transferring CDs into the HDD

I am having a hard time transferring CDs into the HDD.
I see on page 279 of the manual that it says that CD will be transferred automatically if recording is set to AUTO. It is not happening and I cannot find the CD recordings settings on any of the menus.
Where are they??
Tks.

on my 2014 and 2015 it does it when I put a new CD in. You hit HDD to see what songs are in there. You have a choice in settings between HD sound and regular sound. I think you go thru audio and drill down to get to those settings.

On my 2017 Advance I load the CD and have to listen to 3 or 4 tracks and by then the entire CD has been saved to the HDD. The scan icon lights to tell me I can now listen to all the tracks on that CD. Then I can use the HDD menu to play the whole album or select tracks. FYI

Are these purchased CD's or ones you've burned yourself?

We all know it can be done. The OP is asking about the menu settings to turn on auto record.
There is BTW an icon on the right side of the display that shows percent of recording complete.

In my 2nd Gen, only Audio CDs get copied to HDD, mp3 CDs dont get copied. So please check the file format of the files on the CD.

Lalin here are a few screenshots that might help you to check your HDD recording settings.
