I don't see the 5000lbs tow package for the 2016 MDX.

 

Shows up on the US site but not on the Cdn Acura site.

The hitch alone is 3500 I believe. The extra to get to 5k is the addition of an ATF cooler. When I bought my 2016 a few weeks ago; the dealer said the cooler for the 2016 wasn't available yet. Not sure about now.

It also has a label on the tow hitch.

 

The 5,000lb tow package is not yet available. With the 2016's, its a 9 speed trans as oppose to the 2014/15's that were 5 speed. There are no transmission cooler(for the 5,000lb kit) from Acura as of now.

 

I got a hitch installed on 2014 Mdx fwd.
