call around and ask. It will vary depending on dealer/service center, location etc. etc.

Since this is fairly routine maintenance, you probably could check with Honda dealerships as well.

It was around $36 the last A12 service on my 19 MDX hybrid. It was that much because I do my own cabin and engine air filter, bring my own Mobil 1 oil, and have lifetime rotation/balance with Discount Tires. Expect to pay +$100 if you let the dealership do it all.

I asked local Honda and Acura dealers. Both quoted $239.

My total cost is a little higher than the $36 labor charge and oil filter at the dealership. My true cost is probably around $150 for a A12 service once you factor in my part.
- $26 for 5 qts 0w-20 at Walmart
- $15 for Bosch 6029C Hepa cabin air filter, DYI
- $20 for Engine air filter, DYI
- $36 per tire (around $150) for lifetime rotation, balance, road hazard at Discount Tires. I do a rotation/balance every oil change. I purchased the coverage back in April/2019 and used 3X times.
- time/gas to run around town and order online

The savings starts to add up with three vehicles I plan to keep for +10 years and +150,000 miles each.

Kudos to you do it yourself guys and gals. I used to be able to do the routine stuff myself. Now I find I have less time, patience, and make more of a mess when I try to do things on my own. Cabin and engine filters I can handle. I last changed the oil on my pickup and had oil all over the place. Yes, it is 2 to 3 times more expensive to have the professionals do it. But for some, it is the best option. Just have to bite the bullet.

then I guess $239 is not that terrible considering that they are doing the work and giving me a loaner.
