Hey guys,

My car's telling me that it needs a "B" service done. No numbers, nothing else, just "B". I called the dealership here in NOVA (Pohanka) and they quoted me $200. That seems high to me, all considering what all goes into this service code. What do you think?

Yea, pretty expensive for an oil change. I suppose for that FWIW, they give you a sheet that gives you amount of tread left on the tires and the brake pads, as well as a bunch of items that are checked off.

The Pohanka site has a bunch of coupons, and you can get 10% of or whatever. I think brought mine in at 7:00 pm and got a B12 done in less than 2 hours. Got to play with some new cars and do some work on my laptop while waiting there. They give you a loaner if the service is expected to take more than 2 hours.

 

Thanks for the heads up. I'd do it myself, but I don't have a garage and it's a little cold and wet to try and do this all outside. I guess I'll have to bite the bullet and bring it in tonight or tomorrow. Maybe they'll let me take out the '09 and test the SH-AWD in the slush and ice.
