Dropped off the MDX this morning to fix rear tailgate switch not working in cold weather. SA noticed driver's side door lock has been tampered. I didn't even noticed anything wrong with it. He tried to use key in manually open door and couldn't insert the key fully...door lock is busted and needs to be replaced. Thanked God they didn't damage anything else or break the glass in frustration. No idea when this happened. Could have been years ago he just now noticed it. SA said he's seeing lots of break-in attempts recently so it's in their QC procedures now to check for damage door locks. Go check your door locks people and make sure you can insert key to open door. If your battery ever dies, it will be very difficult to get in the car with manual key if door lock is busted. I supposed AAA can still open door but if we're out in the woods somewhere and battery dies we'll be SOL.
