so working backwards, sale price should be around 39K.
I like to deal with OTD, as often dealer will add all sorts of fees to the sale price.

Just back from snagging the last 2020 hybrid advance at Pohanka in northern VA. Paid $52K plus the fees, etc. They wanted to low ball my 2018 hybrid Advance trade. Kept it and drove it back home. Now I have 2 MDX hybrid advance for a couple of days. Seeing 5K more than the dealers offer from Carvana. May also check with Carmax.

Picked up 2020 BASE AWD with remote start installed by dealership for $35,600 before TTL in So Cal area 2 weeks ago - was told I had to go through Acura financing at 4.6% to get price. 2 dealerships around here were willing to offer same deal so must be the going rate right now.

Same here. Not a lot of wiggle room if you don't finance. I made a cash offer and they balked. Told them I would write a check for the complete amount and they said no deal. That means they are getting kickbacks for writing up finance deals. In this case, cash doesn't mean anything to the dealers.

It's hard for a consumer researching target prices currently to to do an apples to apples comparison unless people also share the breakdown of how the dealer got to "X" price. Pricing varies drastically regardless of negotiation skills depending on the current Acura finance and lease incentives.

Picked up a 2020 MDX Sport Hybrid Technology Package yesterday.
Paid $43000+TTL including all dealer fees and incentives in Atlanta, GA. Acura financing 4% at 48 months.
I love the car and regret not buying earlier in the year when I could have had better pricing and wide color choices. Missing the auto-dimming mirrors and ventilated seats already over my 2016 MDX Advance, but the lowest pricing I could find on sport hybrid advance was $51K+TTL.

2020 MDX Tech
We are now proud owners of a new MDX Tech, modern steel metallic with expresso interior. Really wanted the Captains seats but no MDX Tech available in my area that I could find with those colors. After two days of negotiations and walking out once, we picked up ours for $40,500 plus $500 dealer fee and tax. (Included all rebates available.)
Got them to throw in the wheel locks, nitrogen air, heated steering wheel and roof rails. I offered $500 more for fog lights but they wouldn’t bite. Oh well. The kicker is they wanted to charge for nitrogen filled tires. I told them no and they can let all the air out of the tires and fill it up with “regular air” and remove the wheel locks while they were at it.
Did the Acura Financing at 3.14% which is .15% more than the credit union deal so we’ll see how we feel about keeping it with Acura.

Got my MDX Tech FWD brand new on August 12 2017. It was inside the Acura showroom floor alongside few other MDXs. We were shrewd negotiators as a wise man will say (Ed Bolian), and got the vehicle price for $42,500. With all said and done, our OTD was about $46700. Took us only roughly 15 mins from when we walked into the Acura dealership to shaking hands and making a deal. However, we did the paperwork at their Honda dealership. Paid in cash.

The loyalty incentive of $1500 was set to expire yesterday 1/4/2021. It has now been extended through 3/1/2021.
I am assuming the Acura financing $5500 cash is still in play as well.
If dealers are still extending some the same dealer discounts that they did before then the deals should still be in play!

Well earlier this month my son's friend wrecked my beloved 2008 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited when the boys were returning home from a ski trip in Vermont. Thank god nobody was hurt. So anyways, I just picked up a 2018 MDX Sport Hybrid with Advance. It's Modern Steel Metallic w/ ebony interior. Has 40,000 miles. Paid $35,100 plus $3,000 for tax, tags etc for approx $38k out the door. It's pretty sweet and I'm loving how quiet and powerful the engine is. This is actually my fourth hybrid - wife drives a '15 Lexus NX300h, kids drive an '18 RAV4 hybrid, plus the aforementioned old Highlander. Can say without a doubt it's the nicest hybrid and best ride yet.
Also want to say thanks to y'all for all the info in this forum - it's invaluable for research and questions, etc (though for the life of me I still can't figure out when to use sequential vs paddles vs sport but I'm sure I'll figure that out eventually, lol).
