Hybrid pricing and availability

Loved the drive in the hybrid- decided on the tech hybrid. Being quoted 46630 (white interior) 48230 (espresso interior) sale price. The color I like for the interior- espresso is hard to find in the entire southeast!!! Any tips to get the color I want at a reasonable price! Wondering if waiting will allow more models to come out of the factory or will
i miss an opportunity to buy the one I like if I wait too long!

I was lucky with my local dealership and got a Fathom Blue Pearl fresh off a truck before they had a chance to enter it into inventory at the end of March when I was ready to purchase. No other Fathom Blue in an one day drive available ( up to 12 hrs from ABQ, NM). The only options was was special order or wait for the next shipment from late April to early May for my color combo depending on the dealership. The next available was a Boulder, CO, dealership in late April for the exact same sh-sh-awd.

You might have to call all the dealership in your area to find out what is schedule for the next 2-3 months.

I'm just guessing; but, I haven't heard of Acura making a sport hybrid MDX with the 4th Gen right away? Sounds like there might still be a 2019 and 2020 3rd Gen sh-sh-awd available for now. Acura "might" wait until the 4th Gen MMC in +2023 before we see a sport hybrid MDX. You might have to decide what is most important (price or color) if availability will dry up in 12-18 months.

Jacksonville and Orange Park dealers have a white/espresso hybrid but both are advance models.

Just picked up my modern steel /ebony tech yesterday. According to sales guy it was 1 of 5 for their north east zone. So wouldn't wait too long

Tech Hybrids are very rare. Most of them are Advanced model. When we bought our White Diamond Pearl Tech Hybrid, it was one of two in the entire state of California. You either pick one from inventory in color you don't want or special order which takes months to deliver. BTW, espresso interior is nasty. I saw it in person. It's ugly as sin. Go with Ebony or Tan.

True, my White Hybrid Tech with blk interior was the only one in the SoCal area for a 1 month period.

If everything goes well today, I will pull the trigger on a 2019 Sport Hybrid.Tech. I received a pretty good price (under 47k), when using True Car. This includes $1k discount for loyalty.
It appears that the Hybrid are being discounted a lot more than they were 4-5 months ago. The available colors are limited though. I can wait for the right color, so this isnt a problem for me. I also want to add LED fogs, but only if i get a reasonable price.

I have a 2013 RDX that's in perfect condition with very few miles which i may not want to trade in, because dealers will rip me off, so i may sell that separately.
I will post an update later today or tomorrow.

That's a great deal. Back in '17 when MDX Hybrids just came out, dealers were not willing to budge from MSRP.

I picked up that new 2019 MDX Sport Hybrid Tech in Gunmetal yesterday.
Dealer wanted $900 for LED fog lights, so i decided not to add at this time. Perhaps I will buy the LED fog kit and bring it to the dealer so they can install.
Curry Acura in Westchester, NY was very good. Aside from getting me a great price, they did not use ANY high pressure tactics to get me to buy accessories or extended warranty. They were a lot better than my nearest dealership.
The sport hybrid is phenomenal so far. Very happy and wife and I cannot wait for the upcoming summer road trips.

Isn’t curry Acura the dealership that everyone buys theirs accessories from online thru eBay?

Since i I bought my tech hybrid with Costco I get 50% off a part or service. I’m still undecided on fog lights or heated steering wheel

Yes, I think people buy part from Curry.
I buy from Bernardi usually. The LED Fog is about $450 from Bernardi and Curry told me its about 2 hours in installation costs. I may do this.

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a new hybrid MDX. I got a quote from a dealer using TrueCar which appears to be a more than fair price.

That's $3k under what I purchased my 2018 for. If the dealer honors it then its a great buy

That would be an excellent discount!

The best I could do with my USAA car buying service was $4500 off plus Costco 50% discount on accessories up to $200. I wasn't going to haggle more off with that discount because it was the color combo and trim level I wanted.

Killer deal! When we bought our '17 Sport Hybrid Tech, dealers wouldn't budge from MSRP. And back then they didn't have parking sensors, now they do on all the 2019. We had to pay extra for the parking sensors.

Just bought a '19 MDX Hybrid Tech/Adv pkg, white/espresso for $47600 (before tax, title, freight). I initially came in to the dealer to purchase a white/black tech, but saw the tech/adv on the lot. After sitting in the tech/adv, I changed my mind and was willing to pay the extra money for the better quality leather seats (front and rear), rear captain's chair, faux wood trim, and rear window shade. The ventilated front seats are sweet, too.

If the Adv had a option for the 2nd row bench seat I would of purchased one to then again it was hard to even find a Hybrid in White.

The Hybrid Advance is $60,545 MSRP. So you got them down nearly $13K? Was this a demo model?

Same. I really wanted the advanced but needed the bench seat for my dogs. Plus Wife likes to stretch out on long trips back there

Not a demo. The one I bought only had 28 miles on the odometer. I could’ve got any other Adavance color combo w/ that much off .. high volume dealer in N. Va

That price for a purchase is unreal. If leasing there is about $7,500 in additional incentives so I assumed you leased.

Congrats and enjoy!!

This is an amazing price, and i thought i got a decent price. Doesn't even include the $1000 Acura loyalty.

Correct, that price was for a 36 month lease term. But, I’m planning to payoff the amount next month, via credit union used car financing. So, I’m benefiting from the lease incentives and low interest rates.

Thats what I wanted to do as well. But I wonder how the payout amount was calculated. If you can share some information that would be great.

Is this a Tech or an Adv? Not clear to me. So after reading all these posts, it seems that 45k -1k loyalty is a decent price for a Tech hybrid. How much is a good deal for an ADV hybrid? I am looking around now. Thanks!
