How To Take Off The Side Mirror Covers

Anyone know how to take off the side view mirror covers (i.e. the painted plastic pieces)? Do I have to take apart the inside door cover, or can I just unclip a plastic piece while moving the mirror lens over?

At least I hope that they're going to be similar. I'm annoyed that there is no Haynes manual.

Confirmed. The 2014-2019 MDX mirrors are similar to the above thread and link. For the 90 degree ratchet screwdriver, the distance from the tip of the screw bit to the other end of the ratchet can't be more than 1", otherwise you're never getting that screw out. I find my ratchet set at Home Depot, made by Husky, for $19.95.

Just be sure to place two layers of tape on the door by that screw so as to protect the paint.
