Question Rear View Mirror

I need to replace the rear view mirror on my 96 2.5TL, how do I do this? I can't see any screws and I can't just pop it off.

take off the plastic dome cover. there is a screw 5/16 in the middle that needs to be taken out. remove speaker housing cover and you will see mirror screws.

By dome cover you mean the dome light cover I assume, will that just pop off? I messed with it a little but didn't want to break it. Thanks for the info!!!

Buy a Razo 30mm wide race mirror, it will slip over yur mirror if your mirror is just cracked.

pummma: how did your mirror just come off?!

pic_2.5TL: i personally think those racing mirrors would look hideous on our cars but thats just my opinion. you can get them if you want. are you talking about those super duper long rectangular mirrors??

Heres a link to my page I just added pic of interior with the mirror, you can go 24, 27 or 30mm. this is 30mm and I think it was about 10.95 on a yahoo shopping page. Yahoo>Shopping>Razo mirror

well.... I pulled it off while trying to adjust it. I was kinda pissed when I did it. I still haven't had time to mess with it, hopefully today. Anyone have an ABS system for sale?

OK guys putting the rear view mirror in is easy.

1. Pull off plastic dome light cover.
2. Remove the one bolt 10mm.
3. Remove the speaker bracket, comes right off and disconnect
plug.
4. Pull the back end (closest to windshield) straight down, there
are two metal clips, pull kinda hard and slide back to get out.
5. The mirror is right there.

Thanks for the help guys.
