I am so excited that my Acura dealer accepted my Lexus on trade and that I had no negative equity. I got a great deal (subjective I know) on a 2019 SH-AWD TECH in Majestic Black Pearl/Ebony. It had 7 miles on it.
I took delivery on 7/22. I plan to add splash guards, LED Fog Lights, All Weather Mats, Cargo Tray and Window Tint (already done). Here are some pics. I haven't had a chance to take it out and get pics since I ahve been working in my classroom getting ready for the start of school next week. P.S. Dealer Sticker and trunk instructions was removed.
When I signed the papers With the two front windows tinted.
You should check out getting a Ceramic coating on the entire painted surface to help protect the paint from scratches and environmental damage. I did CQuartz finest on my Fathom Blue Pearl MDX paint, windows, and black Berlina rims. Buffing out the micro scratches that cause hazing is the biggest cost for the coating. You could also do clear bra with or without the ceramic coating to cover high impact areas (front bumper, front part of hood, side mirrors). I've seen cars that wrap the entire vehicle in the clear bra materials (usually sports cars or luxury cars +$80,000).
Nice MDX, but ewwwhh dealer decal . I'd get that off immediately. And that black paint will be a PITA to upkeep without getting swirl marks all over. Just curious why did you traded in your RX? IMO Lexus is much better interiors than Acura. I have a GS 350 it's so much nicer inside than our MDX. Cermamic coating won't protect from scratches. You need to do full Paint Protection Film. We did our front bumper and few other areas..holding up well after 2 years.
I guess you missed where I stated in the first post my salesperson removed the dealer sticker for me before I left with it. LOL! As for trading my RX350...I could not get used to the seats and I did not like the way it handled. Again, just my opinion. My legs and back killed me after a long road trip (I have to travel for work several times a year). The MDX feels so much more spacious and open. I also love the SH-AWD. I have been a Honda/Acura customer since 2002 so I guess it is what I am used to. I just could not get used to the RX. Plus I love black vehicles and yes, I know Black is high maintenance, but I like what I like...LOL

AH..i agree the MDX is a great handling car and more spacious inside. We love ours for long road trips. I'd figure the Lexus would be softer ride but I've never driven a RX.
Black is high maintenance, but looks so damn sexy when it's clean (for a mere 30 seconds)

From what I’d test driven, the RX was not soft riding at all. It felt too lightweight and firm to me. Think they want their cars to feel sportier and in the process they seem to be destroying what was one of their strong points. May be it’s my bottom, but I don’t care and Acura rides better for me.
Congratulations for the OP.
Hi again everyone! Here are a few pics with the accessories installed. A couple of you asked for pics and pricing. My dealer gave me a discount off the total (about $200). I got All-Weather Mats, Cargo Tray, LED Fog Lights and Color Painted Splash Guards. The windows were tinted a couple of days after I took delivery. I have put 150 miles on it so far and I could not be happier! I am so glad I got the LED Fog Lights. They look so sharp! For some reason, a couple of pics would never upload.
Congrats! A true beauty! I took delivery of my '19 MDX Tech SH-AWD last Friday. I traded in a '19 RDX due to too many issues with it. What a great driving SUV! I miss a couple of feature the RDX has but overall, a true upgrade!
