Okay, maybe it’s just growing pains with the new car, but the driver seat is supposed to be 12 way adjustable. I want to lower the front of the seat cushion but raise the back of the seat cushion so that the pitch/angle of the seat cushion is flat or maybe even slanting forward a bit. I cannot seem to get to that position. The seat cushion will tilt back just fine (which is a position that no one would ever drive in), but it seems to max out in tilting forward at slightly more than a 0 degree tilt front to back. I’m going to try to attach a picture of the angle I’m taking about.
Most people would have the bottom of the seat angled back if anything, not front.
The horizontal bar that brings the seat forward and back, try pushing down on the front half, or lifting up on rear half, and that adjusts angle as much its allowable. good luck
It may be by design that the seat cannot be flat and definitely not tipped forward. It’s known as anti-submarine to help prevent your pelvis sliding forward in an accident which would allow the lap belt to slide up to the abdomen and cause internal injuries.
Hey e-man - I got the same complain about these seats - its kinda awkwardly tilt at the front and I cannot figure out how to tilt it down? Anyway, the good thing the seats are comfortable.

So I’m not alone. The front of the seat can’t be tilted down to parallel. At its lowest setting, it is still a little tilted up. I think it also has something to do with the fact that the seat has firm thigh support, which is supposed to alleviate back pain.
Part of the problem for me is that we’ve been without an SUV for about 5 months now (turned in an Enclave lease right when Covid hit), so we’ve been driving a low sports sedan for the last 5 months and have gotten used to riding low with our legs sticking straight out.
And I agree, the seats are comfortable and provide a lot of support. The best solution I found for this “issue” (as an earlier poster suggested) is just to position the seat a little higher so that your knees have more bend as opposed to sticking straight out.
