MDX 2020, 14k miles. Is this corrosion? And more importantly, are the door trim sills covered under the bumper to bumper warranty? It seems like the plastic was not fully removed on the driver side sill which caused it to stick to it and accelerate corrosion under it? I can peel the plastic with some elbow grease but there's this hard thing under it that's impossible to remove with my hands.

Yes. They are covered under warranty. I had 2 of them replaced already, for free. But a couple years afterwards, the corrosion comes back even for the newly replaced ones.
My door sills are already corroding. I don't worry too much about this. My aspec front passenger door sill which is painted black, was chipping. Acura replaced it free of charge.
