How to remove door edge trim?

So I would wondering how to properly remove the door edge trim without scratching the paint.

I heard u had to heat it up first? Any idea? Thanks!

oh na, not the side moldings..

Its like the door edge guard thingy. It's like this strip of rubber or metal trim u stick in between the door edge.
