Adding Aspects of Advance to Tech

We own a 2016 RLX hybrid and love it. We are contemplating trading our RX350 for a MDX hybrid Tech. Why Tech? We don't like the Captain seats aspect in the 2nd row as the standard bench seat of the Tech works better for how we use our vehicle.

Am crowd sourcing here because the Acura.com site does not have the answers:
a. Can the panoramic camera options of the Advance be dealer added to the Tech?
b. Our RLX has the audible and visual alert letting us know a car is approaching when the RLX is in reverse. Can this feature be added?
c. Any other retrofit suggestions for the Tech?

Thanks for any knowledge you can share.

There are a lot of sensors and tech involved that would probably be a huge PITA to add to a vehicle that didn't include those features from the factory. Might just be easier to buy the Advance and see about replacing the second row with bench seating.

To answer the above questions:

a. As for the FACTORY panoramic camera options, sure, you can add those, but the cost would approach the cost of buying an Advance model anyways. If you wanted the panoramic cameras, use an aftermarket system. They are out there and can be installed.
b. Are you talking about the general sensors or the rear cross traffic alert? Therear sensors should be already installed on the MDX tech.
c. There are literally too many options to list. Money and imagination are the only challenges!

For B. My hybrid tech alerts with sound and arrows when a car is being an ass and passes you when backing up.

I added a heated steering wheel to my Tech. I think the only other option I’d want is the ventilating seats. Other than that, the surround cameras aren’t even an afterthought.

Having my wife now own an '18 RLX Hybrid with all the advanced features, I'm wanting to have more on my '17 MDX tech. But they're so integrated the only way I'll achieve satisfaction is to get an Advance model MDX. I do know that the "default" setup for an MDX Advance (with or without sport hybrid) is the 4 bucket seat mode, but you can find them with a normal bench seat. I know my local dealer has a decent mix of the two types (they identify them as Advanced and Advanced 6P (for six passenger). I know that I really like the Bronze Canyon Advance in the showroom now, but it's a 6P and with the way we carry people and dogs and such, the bench works out much better - so I know your pain.

But in terms of adding Advance items to a Tech? Just say "no". ;-)

Not quite. While the Advance package includes the captain's chairs, adding the "entertainment package" reverts that back to the bench seat - but - that package is NOT available with the hybrid.

Yeah, I was going to say, we have the Advance with the ENT package, and we have a bench seat.
