12V socket not working

I actually sent my car in today to have the 12V sockets checked out. I have these griffin usb charging ports that go into the sockets and they work in my older 2009 honda accord and really all our older cars. but my iphone didnt charge in the 2014 mdx. end of story right? well, with the 2017 RDX courtesy car i got today, it also did not work. the usb cord works. either coincidently 2 cars from acura had blown 12V fuses, or something is incompatible between the newer acuras and these charging ports.

anyone got issues with their 12V socket not working?

The 12V power sockets are only powered when the engine is running. If your trying to check for voltage with the engine off, then thats your problem.

The fuse for the 12V sockets is behind the passanger footwell. If I remember it is near the gottom pf the fuse block. Nearly Impossible to get at or replace

WOW. God Bless u bro.. I forgot. I have the 3" thick Service manuel, used it Many Times: Changed timing belt etc. Never a problem. I looked in it Many Many Times over the last year. Haha- That's where the Stock "Amp" Is. Hallelujah. If I don't have to sell it, I am having the front end repainted- sand from previous owner South of Houston TX After my Highly Modded WDP TL Type-S With VOLK GT-S Wheels was stoled on my front porch at 45 cal to my head. NO fear. This car is Like mint. I replaced the front lower seat covers. I want the carbon metal on the sides of the counsel, Searched junk yards for years.. Only to find pass side. Delray has the lowest price- 2 Pieces OF TIN for $500..
