Hello All,
I am considering buying a pre-owned 2017 MDX with 15k miles. I noticed rust/soot on one of the exhaust tips.
Sales rep who was helping me tried to clean if off with a rag, but it did not help much.
​​​​​​Is this a common/known problem with MDX? Could this indicate any issues with engine causing excess heat and smoke?
I am having second thoughts about proceeding with purchase because of this? Appreciate any feedback and suggestions.

 

Normal if not excessive. Use flitz, it takes it right off.
