if you have to ask....then you're not ready to dabble into spring rates....

just get the stock setup that comes with the tein flex...., as it will be what ever Tein set it too. and will be fine for your use...

now, if you added your intentions to why you want a different spring rate, maybe I can help you...
but asking a general, "what should I do" means you're not ready.

if you wanted to dabble into spring rates, you need to ask yourself why? and what are the reasons for going stiffer or softer...?

I bought BC coilovers because you can custom order spring rates. I chose to go stiffer all the way around. Why?

To make the car balanced. I like race cars. I do not like stanced.
Fuck a stanced car. Ruins the car. Any way, the BC's stock came with an unbalanced set up...10kg up front and 6kg in the rear. To me, that is unbalanced. I want my car to shift it's weight in the corner, without being to front heavy.. you can accomplish this with stiffer rear springs.
But this is what I want and I researched WHY.

No two people are the same...So asking a general "what I should do" isn't the best question to ask.
You'll need to ask yourself why you want stiffer or softer springs

Julius is on air

and I'm sure, HE had specific reasons on why he chose to go that route.
basically, modding is SUPER personal.
No one can answer questions on what should you do, or what the best is....BECAUSE it's all subjective and personal!!

One needs to figure out their goals for their own car.
once that is figured out, then one can plan and execute

No reason to bow as I created a lot of headaches for myself going air. One of the reason why I went with air is because I have a crappy drive way but yes you are right on point!
