Intermittent TPMS System failure warnings
Intermittent TPMS System failure warnings
I am facing a weird problem with my 2009TSX. The TPMS system failure light comes on after driving for about an hour on the freeway. It then goes off by itself after a while. This is *NOT* the low tire pressure warning light but the system failure light. The tire pressures on all 4 tires are fine.
I have taken it to the dealer 3 times now with this problem but they havent been able to replicate the problem (obviously because they havent driven it for an hour continuously!).
Acura Client Relations hasnt been of much help either as they say that I should keep going to the dealer till he is able to replicate the problem(!!!). But the issue is that it is almost impossible to drive into the dealership with the light on since it is so intermittent and goes off by itself.
Any suggestions ?

i think i had the same thing happen to me the 2 times ive taken a road trip in my car.
the first time, i freaked and stopped at the nearest gas station to put air in the tires which were all fine..
havent had the problem since my last road trip a few months ago..
maybe the pressure just gets wonky after being driven a while..?

It happens regularly
For me it happens pretty much everytime I drive for about an hour on the freeway. Interesting thing is that it doesnt happen in city traffic even if I drive for the same time. It is almost like it has something overheating because of speed and time on the freeway.
