under cover TSX 2009

My wife broke by aluminum under cover (Ran over a curb) :-(

I checked under neath everything is fine.

I am going to buy the part online but having a tough time identifying which one it is

can come on help me out

You didn't mention where under the car. Anyway, the engine cover, which is towards the front, has an aluminum plate on it. I have attached a link to the diagram. Let me know if you need anything else.

I am almost sure its part number 9. Its the front aluminum cover you take off when an oil change is done

mine broke off a while ago after a snow storm, been driving around without it. it may be useful, but not necessary

Underbody cladding has several uses - aerodynamics, increased cooling and protection from water/dirt

The cladding is designed to manage the airflow, thereby increasing cooling. Kepping most of the water and dirt away also helps longevity and the better aerodynamics will (albeit only slightly) decrease fuel consumption - actually, if only part of the cladding is missing then you may be increasing drag more than if it were all gone.

You might want to consider replacing it.
