TMPS error

I am new with this so please help me out.

I bought a used tsx that came with snow tires with steel rims.

Will I get any sort of TMPS error when I put them on?

Depends. If your winter set has TPMS sensors in them you will have no problems. The car will automatically register the new wheels and you should not have a light. If there are no sensors in them you will get an annoying blinking dash light.

I have not heard of that solution but if you get it to kill the light let us know. I had the error light in my car for a while because the tire shop installed the wrong TPMS sensors. I adjusted the steering wheel to the point where it blocked the error light most of the time.

i don't think there's a way to get rid of the light...at least no one's found it. besides i wouldn't want to disable it cuz what if u get tpms later and you can't reactivate the light? it could be as simple as pulling a fuse but i wouldn't want to chance it.

Wll I could just roll the error light back on when I put my summer tires on again. But I think its to much headache for just one TPMS light. I think I will just leave it for the winter
