Tire Pressure

Anyone know what the PSI should be set at? I got in the car this morning and for the second day in a row the TPMS light was on..... all tires were at 26psi. Doesnt seem right. I just got the car 4 days ago.

My previous cars didnt have TPMS and I usually kept it at 34psi

The tire pressure spec should be on the driver side door jam.

My 04 recommended settings are 32PSI front and 30PSI rear. I acutally overinflate to 35F/33R. The tire sidewall, I believe, says 41PSI max. I'm relatively sure that the specs should be the same for 04-08 since the vehicle weight and OEM tires haven't changed.

I do have a follow up question. What should be the proper inflation if you put on a different brand of tire? If the new tire has different thickness sidewalls, or has a different load rating, would the door jamb PSI recommendations still apply? Or would you go with (32PSI/41PSI) 78% of the sidewall maximum PSI? I'd be interested in hearing you guy's thoughts on this.

I hit the curb once and it feels like my right rear is always lower by a lot, but on the display its usually only 1psi lower than all the others. Any suggestions on what to do? [ sorry if im stealing a thread]

Hmm It usually runs around 34/33 depending what time of the day it is. Since its summer now I'm not sure how much to pump it up or it's still necessary.
