Temperature is jumping on AUTO?

Hello, do you guys notice that sometimes (when the car is set to 74F and outside temperature is like 45F) cold air start blowing though the last wholes it front, and it suppose to blow only hot air from the bottom.

I think it has something to do with the GPS temperature control, but i'm having only problem from it, because I have to constantly change the temperature up and down.

Does anybody know how to turn this feature off?

Thanks.

HVAC issue

Yes I did also notice that the vehicle changes temperature when the HVAC (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system is in the auto mode. Some of the things this HVAC system will do is turn on and off your compressor to improve fuel economy. Another thing the vehicle will do is use the GPS sensor to determine where the sun is. It will then account for the solar radiation coming into the vehicle and compensate. By doing so, it will blow cooler air on your face and blow warmer air on your legs. While this happens, the system often increase or decreases the velocity of the air to make the passenger believe the temperature is the same.
I love this feature, but that's just my two cents.

If you don't like this feature, on cold sunny days I would suggest turning off the Auto function.

Just set it to "A/C Off" mode and set the blower to feet only. It does seem to have a mind of it's own some time but for the most part, I like decisions it makes. I do notice that on long trips it tends to slowly get colder for some reason. I just bump the temp setting up a degree or two and it fixes it but the next time I get in the car it's like having a jet engine exhaust pointed at my face.

All in all though, the system works extremely well and I rarely have to adjust anything.

This is very upsetting me, because in my other cars I never EVER had to change the TEMP in AUTO MODE. it was keeping 72F or 74F and I was comfortable at all times, but here I have to constantly change temperature, because time to time all of sudden cold air or hot air starting to blow into mine or passenger's face. This is just absurd.

I saw a post in the RL section quite a while ago about turning off the link from the GPS to the climate control. That might help you out a little bit.

Yesterday I was driving on the highway and noticed that even with "AC/OFF" and Mode set to the bottom only, cold air STILL blowing from the last wholes. This is insane, because it's not doing that all the time, so I can't even show it to the dialer.

Any suggestions?
