Steering wheel a wee bit off

Not sure how big 'problem' this really is, but when the car is traveling straight the steering wheel is rotated a bit to the right -- that is it's not perfectly straight, probably only noticeable by me (so my wife says).

I'm guessing it's not an easy fix if fixable at all. Would you notice? Am I being too picky?

TIA.

Take it back to the dealer, it's a relatively easy fix.

I have the same problem, too lazy to take to the dealer. LOL.

I thought I just needed an alignment.

I have the same thing as well but the dealer wont fix it since it says on TSB it has to be under 20,000 KM

i'm seeing the same thing, but i'm not sure if it's because the road isn't flat or what.. it's not bad enough to be a big deal to me though

I have the same thing too - but was attributing it to road crown b/c on some roads, it's straight as an arrow. I didn't know there was a TSB for it.

I have this issue too. The alignment of the car is perfect, but the still sits crooked to the right a little.

--09TSXTECH...when you say its a relative easy fix...what exactly is the fix? I have an appointment on wednesday for my seat's squeaking and a new rattle under the steering wheel. I'd love to have this issue fixed as well because its really annoying!!

It's an alignment issue.

Most reputable show should be able to align the car steering straight while performing 4 wheel alignment. See if your dealer will fix that under warranty, if you have lowered your vehicle, wait about a week for suspension to settle and get an alignment. It should cost under $100.

razor mentioned a TSB for under 20,000 km or 12,000 miles, the dealer would have to fix that under warranty, they may still do it as a goodwill gesture if your mileage is over the TSB limit.

I agree; it's an alignment issue. I'm surprised I didn't read this earlier..... but any good alignment shop will center the wheel when they do an alignment. And if the wheel is off center...... I can't imagine the alignment is "perfect".

This is kinda off this topic, yet it kind of the same, but I have this and a kinda deadzone in my steering. AND I have exceeded that 12,000 mile by far....40,000 and counting....but do you think it's worth bringing to my dealer and seeing?

When you lower a car and throw off the toe...most of the time you throw off the wheel being straight...you get an alignment and they fix that...
