Squealing noice when unlocking doors!

Hi all,

I start hearing squealing noise, when unlocking doors. The noise is coming from outside the car, where the fuel tank door is. I know there is a valve for the doors somewhere over there and we hear it every time we lock/unlock the doors. The sound is like the valve is releasing air pressure and it is not the usual one. May be this valve is getting bad?
What you guys think about it? Could it be a future problem?

Thanks!

I do not know what valve you are talking about but the fuel door has an actuator that locks it with the driver door. If your actuator is going bad then there might be a time when you cannot open or lock your fuel door. If that happens I think there is a manual override in the trunk. You should have it checked if its under warranty. Don't wait for it to completely break after your warranty is over.

I had a similar problem with squealing, but it was the door lock actuators. I had the front drive and passenger replaced under warranty, but now the rears are doing the same thing. Looks like it is time for another trip back to the dealership to get that taken care of. Hope this helps!

Thanks guys! I found another similar thread in the forums. I guess I have to stop by and visit the dealership again.

Thanks!
